This interview was done just a few days ago, last weekend I believe.
As long as a large percentage of conservatives think like this, and by all accounts they do, there should be no "forgiveness" for what these fools have been putting America through for years. We have to get rid of or overcome people like this , not placate them.
The problem that I see is that CNN is airing this but these kinds of people don't watch CNN so what's the point besides entertaining those of us with an above room temperature IQ
I really have no desire to placate these people. When my kids were being unreasonable I sent them to their rooms where they could scream their hearts out. Thirty minutes later all was well
If everyone or almost everyone saw them as buffoons then laughing at them would be just sport. But these people remain a political force in many areas of the country, and SOME people who know better want the rest of us to make peace with the idiots.

It's not just the political aspect. They cause innocent people to be the targets of violence. There's no defending that.
