Florida is requesting hundreds of ventilators from the federal government after a surge in COVID-19 across the state, according to a Department of Health and Human Services planning document.

The request was made Friday for 300 ventilators “to replace expended state stores,” the document said.

It was not clear how the ventilators would be allocated, but they were expected to arrive in the state Monday, according to the outlet.

The request comes as the delta variant spreads mostly among unvaccinated individuals and Florida sees more coronavirus cases and hospitalizations.

DeathSantis can pull them out of his ass for all I care.  But first he would have to remove his head.  Any should go to the innocents infected by anti vax morons.  NO SOUP FOR THEM!

That's what I was thinking.  The ventilators should be sent directly to the hospitals, not to DeSantis.  He, like his lover Trump did, may very well send them to hospitals and counties that supported his COVID orders, if they disagreed they may not see any ventilators.

sorry, no ventilators available for the children of deathsantis supporters. go to petsmart and buy a cheap aquarium air pump, some tubing, and use duct tape to hold the tubing in the patients mouth. /s

Ah yes, there is no Covid problem in Florida, what's 20,000 plus new cases a day, 14,000 hospitalized with Covid and 2700 in ICU and don't forget we have the most kids infected and the most in the hospital.

NO PROBLEM at all DeSantis.
