Moonfall (2022 Movie) Teaser Trailer

I'm a longtime fan of disaster movies, but this one seems to be a bit more ridiculous than most of the others. I'm not so much a fan that I would rush to a theater and see them. I'll wait until this one comes out on one of the streaming services I already pay for.

The synopsis:

In Moonfall, a mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it. With mere weeks before impact and the world on the brink of annihilation, NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler is convinced she has the key to saving us all - but only one astronaut from her past, Brian Harper and a conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman believe her. These unlikely heroes will mount an impossible last-ditch mission into space, leaving behind everyone they love, only to find out that our Moon is not what we think it is.

Director: Roland Emmerich

Writers: Spenser Cohen, Roland Emmerich, Harald Kloser

Stars: Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, John Bradley

In theaters February 4th, 2022

The moon is a construct with something bad inside? WTF! I'd rather there be an alien nazi lizard moon base...

Eventually it'll be on Netflix or Amazon Prime and then I'll watch it and roll my eyes while munching down some popcorn. Much like I did when Greenland came out last year. I see that one's gotten the greenlight for a sequel.

Yeah, that's when I'll watch it.

I discovered a whole new channel last night on my Fire TV...Amazon! A whole channel dedicated to obscure movies and Amazon originals

It's one of the movies that doesn't take itself seriously and is so much better because of that. Hilarious!

For some reason only the first word of what I typed showed up... I'm having one of those types of computer days.

Not Santa Clause Conquers the Martians (1964) with Pia Zadora?

LMAO

Did you know that a tomato is 95% water and the human brain is 73% water? That means that we are only 22% away from being tomatoes.

Some of us are much, much closer than that.
