BP fails in US Supreme Court gulf appeal
BP s hopes of limiting the cost of compensation for its 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico have been dealt a severe blow by the US Supreme Court , which has refused to hear the case over what the UK oil company describes as unjustified payments.
The rebuff to BP and its supporters, including the British government and US business groups , was described by lawyers representing claimants seeking compensation as a huge victory for the gulf.

I think that SCOTUS made the right decision in this case.
Without a doubt they did Larry. BP and it's legion of lawyers signed the agreement, and now want to back track on it...
