Jim Jordan says Congress is going to press FBI head Wray on transparency regarding Biden document
Last month, Wray came under fire from House Republicans for not complying with a subpoena and not turning over an informant document on the Biden family investigation.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Oh.) says that during FBI Director Christopher Wray's upcoming testimony on Wednesday, the committee plans to press him on a document he kept from Congress and the American people.

"For example, this 1023 form that he just keeps dragging his feet on and won't let the full Congress see," Jordan said on the "Great American Show with Lou Dobbs."

"More importantly, he won't let the American people see this form from a confidential source that talks about this scheme that saw foreign nationals paying the Bidens," he continued. "And supposedly, according to this source, Joe Biden was going to do certain policy things in exchange for that money. So, you know, we should be able to get that form. We're going to continue to press on that."

Last month, Wray came under fire from House Republicans for not complying with a subpoena and not turning over an informant document on the Biden family investigation.

The form includes information provided to the bureau in June 2020 by a confidential human source alleging a bribery scheme involving President Biden when he was vice president. Lawmakers learned about the existence of the memo from FBI whistleblowers.

Jordan said later during the interview that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is open to the idea of possibly impeaching Attorney General Merrick Garland, who has also been criticized for exercising his role in a partisan manner.

"There are some who have called for a real investigation into impeachment kind of an impeachment inquiry there," Jordan stated. "We haven't moved down that road yet, although Speaker McCarthy has been clear when it comes to the Attorney General, Merrick Garland, that he is very open to an impeachment inquiry with the Attorney General. So we'll keep pressing."

Senator Ted Cruz called last month for Garland to be investigated over his alleged weaponization of the Department of Justice as whistleblowers claim the executive agency has acted improperly in politically sensitive investigations.

Possibly, but not as interesting as today's NATO meeting. Then of course there is always Senator Tuberville's continuing attempts to make the US military as 'prepared' as Russia's.

We already are prepared as Russia's military.

We are scattered all over the damn planet protecting assets that most US voters don't even know about; and if they did would be sickened by it. Propping up regimes most US voters don't support. We are short on munitions, advanced armaments, and our commanders and CiC are more concerned about the troops being "woke" than actually preparing them for combat- much the less win a war.

Stuck with an administration that cares more about enforcing Ukraine's borders at any cost than our own. That seeks to control all media and information. Worried more about packing the Supreme Court so that it will rule their way; and trying to federalize all election laws in an attempt to get one party rule.

So Tuberville's wish is already granted. We are Russia. Thank the Democrats.

This would be the same form containing the allegation that the head of Burisma had audio tapes proving bribery by Biden, an allegation which the head of Burisma at the time is on record as denying ever happened.

If the House bathrooms run out of toilet paper they can use this "form" as a substitution.

Seems you have complete memory loss about what a whistleblower really is. Not surprising given the Democrat's bullshit for the last 7 years and counting.

Not a valid whistleblower  Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman who was not present for the phone call; and cobbled together his information from second and third hand sources. None of which Democrats bothered to interview. Democrats accepted his testimony as gospel. Vindman was correctly removed from serving the White House for his action.

Valid whistleblower Gary Sharpley- whose team was removed from the Hunter Biden investigation after taking his concerns to Congress. Which would have hurt going forward with any court proceedings; but as we all know the fix was already in. There never was going to be a trial.

Stop listening to Brandon, DNC, and leftist talking heads.

You mean like the Jan 6th Committee. No I don't think so. This is about getting to the truth on something which most people see is outrageous. The DOJ has become politicized & weaponized. There are many whistleblowers out there and they are all under attack and facing intimidation.

Here is what the Committee should ask Wray (courtesy of Margot Cleveland )

“Do you agree with the special counsel’s conclusion that there was an insufficient predicate to open Crossfire Hurricane as a full investigation?”

“Do you agree with the special counsel’s conclusion that the FBI handled allegations of ‘foreign election influence activities associated with entities related to Clinton,’ differently than it did the allegations related to Trump?”

“Do you agree with the special counsel’s conclusion that none of the substantive claims in the Steele dossier about Donald Trump and his campaign were verified?”

“Do you agree the FBI never should have used Igor Danchenko as a confidential human source?”

“Do you agree the FBI violated Carter Page’s civil rights?”

“Do you agree the FBI committed fraud on the FISA court?”

“Do you agree the FBI’s handling of Crossfire Hurricane demonstrated a political bias?”

“And do you agree with Durham’s conclusion that additional rules and regulations to be learned in yet more training sessions would likely prove to be a fruitless exercise if the FBI’s guiding principles of ‘Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity’ are not engrained in the hearts and minds of those sworn to meet the FBI’s mission of ‘Protect[ing] the American People and Uphold[ing] the Constitution of the United States?’”

Then, the Judiciary Committee should walk Wray through the whistleblowers’ many allegations and ask, generally speaking, whether the DOJ or FBI acted inappropriately.

If I can, I'll follow the proceedings here.

He said that he does not believe that there was a single undercover agent there, but will not answer as to whether there were FBI "assets" in the crowd. That kind of implies that the FBI may have paid people, who they couldn't control, to give them information. That might explain a lot.

“House Republicans reflect the base of the party, and the base is fully radicalized and fully with Trump,” said former GOP representative Joe Walsh of Illinois. For House Republicans, “It’s a two-year revenge tour for how the ‘deep state’ and Democrats have targeted Trump since he first got elected and for the ‘stolen election’ in 2020.”

Walsh added that Trump’s indictments and separate 34-count charge by a Manhattan district attorney for falsifying business records to conceal payments to a porn star “are further deep state targeting” and that it was “open warfare”.

“For House Republicans, there is zero distinction between politics and outright warfare. Because the base believes the government has been at war with them for years,” he said.

Walsh stressed: “To defend Trump means you have to attack our democratic institutions like our elections, our justice system and the rule of law.”

Other House GOP alumni raised red flags about the spate of justice department and FBI investigations and impeachment talk by conservatives.

“Jordan is not only accepting Trump’s falsehoods but actively promoting them. It’s an alternative reality. Members are doing it for re-election purposes, fundraising and power,” said the former Michigan Republican representative Dave Trott.

Trott added that he thought “what the Trump crazies have promoted is undermining our democracy and confidence in our judicial system and justice department. Now they want to defund justice and the FBI because they know it will further energize the far-right base.”

Likewise, former justice department officials say that House members echoing Trump’s rhetoric are badly misguided.

“Comments by Republican politicians about weaponization of the justice department are completely disconnected from reality,” said the former deputy attorney general Donald Ayer, who served in the George HW Bush administration. “Overwhelming evidence indicates that Trump has committed multiple serious crimes against the country and is very likely to be held accountable. A political strategy based on opposing that reality is the height of foolishness.”

Joe Walsh is entitled to his opinion.

When it comes to defining radicalism: failing to recognize basic biology and denying the US population affordable fuel based on a green fantasy and opening the southern border, more than fits the definition.

Walsh makes it clear what MAGA radicalization consists of - a cultish devotion to Trump and protecting him from responsibility for his actions.

“It’s a two-year revenge tour for how the ‘deep state’ and Democrats have targeted Trump since he first got elected and for the ‘stolen election’ in 2020.”

FBI director Christopher Wray: "There are specific rules about where to store classified information and that those need to be stored in a SCIF...In my experience, ballrooms, bathrooms, and bedrooms are not SCIFs."

The follow-up should have been: How about garages in Delaware?

In Conclusion:

The American people have lost faith in the FBI and have lost count of all the scandals the agency has been a part of. In a recent Poll only 37% of Americans now have a favorable opinion of what once was America's premier law enforcement agency. Yesterday Director Wray only added to that perception by being defiant & evasive before a House Committee. Wray was at no point straight forward on issues he should have been prepared to talk about. What is happening to American justice is something that only happens in totalitarian states.

Now I'll put this one to rest.

As you should, J. Jordan's committee of revenge was a joke of jerks.
