I'll bet he started out building miniature sets for Japanese monster movies.

Went on to watch a kid attempt to break speed records with a foam rocket plane.

That is my new favorite gadget site.

What gets me is that based on his attire it looks like he may just be a simple Vietnamese farmer or something. Sandals and a shovel?!  Seriously?  And that little home made tool he’s using to fasten together the structural cages for reinforcing the concrete?  So impressed.

That was amazing and the General Contractor/Inspector along with this four legged supervisor are a hell of a team.

He wears a hard hat in this one.  Cracks me up.

Now he has two supervisors, probably to help catch the fish that jumped out of the pool...

This guy is amazing.

In addition to being an excellent engineer, and the master of several trades, the guy is quite the artist.

Fascinating to watch.

I sent this to my Dad, who is a retired electrical engineering professor, and his comment was “this guy needs to get a life”.  Some people are incapable of recognizing genius, creativity, and determination I guess.

My brother and our friends built an earth dam near a waterfall where the water pooled so we could have a swimming hole. My dad kicked a hole in it because we dried up the creek where his cows watered. He was impressed by our dam, tho and said so. Imagine how impressed he would have been if we had built something like this

I've always wanted to build near a stream where I could put a waterwheel generator. This is a level of crazy genius above that for sure.

I see nothing crazy about that. Would you use the generator for nefarious purposes? No. So not crazy
