Bruce Springsteen endorses Kamala Harris, slams Donald Trump as 'dangerous'

Music legend Bruce Springsteen offered a full-throated endorsement to the Harris-Walz ticket Thursday, in what he called "one of the most consequential elections in our nation's history."
In a three-minute Instagram endorsement video, the 75-year-old rocker sits at the counter of a New Jersey-esque diner wearing a plaid flannel jacket to offer up praise for Vice President Harris and Gov. Tim Walz — and criticism for President Donald Trump.
"Donald Trump is the most dangerous candidate for president in my lifetime," he began in a takedown of the 2024 GOP candidate, echoing many of liberal cable news' favorite talking points.
"His disdain for the sanctity of our constitution, the sanctity of democracy, the sanctity of the rule of law, and the sanctity of the peaceful transfer of power should disqualify him from holding the office of president ever again."
The "Born to Run" singer lamented the deep divisions among Americans today, saying the country hasn't been as "politically, spiritually and emotionally divided" since the Civil War.
"It doesn't have to be this way," he added.
The New Jersey native rattled off a list of what he believes "makes America great" in addition to its economic and military might, including "freedom, social justice, equal opportunity and the right to be and love who you want."
Springsteen has been a dependable Democratic booster for years, backing John Kerry, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden before throwing his support behind the 2024 Democratic ticket.
"Everybody sees things different and I respect your choice as a fellow citizen. But like you, I've only got one vote. And it's one of the most precious possessions that I have. And that's why come Nov. 5, I'll be casting it for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz," he concluded.
For his part, former President Trump has said on the campaign trail that he's no big fan of Springsteen, and is seemingly well aware the feeling is mutual.
During a speech in Atlanta in August, Trump told the crowd he's "not a huge fan" of Springsteen, before admitting to having "a bad trait" where "I only like people who like me."

Its a good ad, but I have a feeling it wont make much difference. I dont think any celebrity endorsements will mean much in this particular election.
