Red Box Rules
Criticisms of liberal government, officials, policy, etc. are off-topic. If you cannot be concerned about the human and community tragedy, go play in another seed.
Death toll is expected to rise. So far, the loss of structures is like Lahaina x3. It will take decades before these areas look anything like “normal” again.
Yesterday afternoon, a new fire (known as the Kenneth fire) popped up about 10 miles from my house. Fortunately, winds were mild and aircraft was able to stop its forward progress fairly quickly. Wind is expected to ebb and flow over the next week.
I hope you stay safe and secure
This is beyond belief, I’ve never see anything like this in all the years I’ve lived in So Cal. I’ve contacted all my friends and relatives in So Cal and all are ok. I have two great nephews that are part of the firefighting teams and I’m very concerned for them as they have been on duty for at least 48 straight hours.
I hope that you and all your family and friends are ok, Tacos.
there's a lot of videos of the destruction on youtube. it looks pretty bad from what I've seen ...
The devastation is simply beyond compreshension.
Sadly the fires are still burning and new ones are breaking out.
Damn winds..if they dropped off could have a fighting chance..until then it is a massive uphill battle sadly...
