I never though of Sen Klobuchar as much of a public speaker or performer but she was a superb performer at the recent Washington DC dinner.
From the booing, it seems the Republicans are a little thin skinned when on the receiving end of public ridicule
They should get used to it as there are a lot of characters in the new administration that just beg for ridicule

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) refused to walk on eggshells as she cracked jokes aimed at President Donald Trump and Republicans on Thursday.
Klobuchar — who was among those trading jabs at the Washington Press Club Foundation Annual Congressional Dinner — noted that the organization dates back to when there were 46 states and jokingly rejoiced that the U.S. would add more states thanks to lands on Trump’s radar: Canada, Panama and Greenland.
“Speaking of Greenland, there’s a question for you that I want to pose. What is the difference between Greenland and Donald Trump? Greenland is not for sale,” joked Klobuchar of a president who’s found a friend in the constitutional chaos-making donor Elon Musk and other tech billionaires .
The punchline got a sea of boos from the D.C. crowd and Klobuchar was ready to hit back at the president’s supporters.
“OK, for any Republican Trump administration person out there, they want to throw eggs at me as a result of that joke. You can’t, because they’re too expensive,” said Klobuchar with a chuckle.
Led by the impact of avian influenza , the price of eggs has increased at the grocery store just as the Waffle House chain has joined a list of smaller restaurants that have hit diners with a surcharge on eggs .
The steep price of eggs isn’t expected to drop until the second quarter of 2025, Business Insider noted .
Trump, who used inflation to go after Democrats for high prices at the grocery store on the campaign trail, backtracked on his vow to lower costs for consumers prior to taking office.
Democrats have since seen the increased price of eggs as an opportunity to attack the president.

Be civil to each other and follow the NT rules
If all you plan to do is disparage and denigrate Sen Klobuchar - do everyone a favor and don't.
What could be easier than that?
I am no great fan of Sen Klobuchar but she was quite funny and on point in her comments drawing the ire of Republicans in the audience when the truth and the comedy merged into one liners poking fun at the president and his policy and actions
When shes not shaking like a leaf.
I think we can look forward to a four year season of this type of "fun poking" or "truth telling"
Klobuchar was my pick for Harris VP. I also think she would have done a better job at Presidential candidate than Harris too.
I agree
