Televangelist Grifters Pray Over Trump In Oval Office

The person just to the right of Trump in this photo is his "spiritual adviser" Paula Jones, a known and notorious televangelist grifter.

Was Paula White's church investigated?

From 2007 through 2011, the  Senate Finance Committee investigated six megachurch televangelists , including White-Cain's ministry Without Walls International Church, that had been accused of misusing charitable, tax-exempt funds.

According to the final report , Without Walls paid salaries for extended family members, owned and operated a private jet and frequently chartered flights including trips to the Cayman Islands and a boxing match in Las Vegas, and paid for down payments on an 8,072 square-foot mansion in Tampa and a $3.5 million condo in Trump Tower in New York City.

Faith leaders   from across the country visited President Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Wednesday where they prayed with the commander-in-chief.

The White House posted an image of the leaders gathered in prayer around Trump as he sat at his desk.

William Wolfe, the executive director of the Center for Baptist Leadership, posted the same image.

Faith leaders gather around Trump to pray in Oval Office: 'incredible day'

I dont know what he's bitching about , it is a real news story today.

This photo sickens me. trmp is no Christian and I'm sure he mocks them behind their backs. Maybe not, tho. He looks at their fat wallets and probably thinks he should have gone into the Jesus business instead of real estate

Evangelical grifters are certainly a sad lot.

Over the years "so called" preachers, men of the cloth and religious opportunists have inserted themselves into politics

Some that come to mind are Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, ...

I am people can add other names to this list and

Those names popped to mind because they are as fiercely supportive of the democrats and those in the picture are supportive of Trump.

I am aware that both are African American if that was what you found interesting

I personally thing that the separation of church and state should be wider  on both sides of the aisle, but that is just me

Interesting spin.

I don't recall any such spectacle as the one pictured above from Jackson or Sharpton, nor are either of them promoters of "prosperity gospel".  I find it interesting that you equate them, or attempt to.

I distinctly remember the black community praying profusely for Barrack Obama when he won his first election.  It was for a different reason though.  They were praying that he wouldn’t be assassinated by the multitudes of racists openly talking about it.
