AOC: Trump And Musk 'Disdain' For Working Americans
This woman could not even recognize the American dream if it was fed to her on a silver spoon. But understand that this kind of disdain for working people by the most powerful people in this country doesn't just come from not being raised right. It's a shorthand for Elon Musk and Donald Trump's entire political agenda and a certain, ugly kind of politics Lying to and screwing over working people so that they can steal from our health care and social security and veterans care to pay for tax...

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) joined Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) at a rally in Las Vegas on Thursday and accused the Trump administration of having "disdain" for working-class Americans, citing a recent jab from Trump's lawyer Alina Habba.

"For all the big talk that Republicans and the Trump administration like to flap about working people, if you actually listen carefully, every once in a while they let the mask slip about what they actually think about us. You know, just last week, at President Trump's lawyer, her name is Alina Habba," Ocasio-Cortez said as the crowd booed.

"She went on television, and when she actually had to be faced with explaining her job, and when she actually had to be faced with doing her job, this is what she had to say. Quote, 'What intellectual thought,' when she was asked about me. Quote, 'What intellectual thought. You were in a bar. You were in a bar, AOC. And not to have a drink, but to serve one,'" she said as the crowd booed again, adding:

I want you all to understand… I don't care what this woman says about me, but… Thank you. Thank you again. But I want you to understand that she isn't just talking about me here. She's talking about you. She's talking about all of us. Because the entire job of the president's lawyer is to speak for him. Trump hired her to speak for him. So imagine what it means for our country that the president's own lawyer cannot even conceive of a working-class person being intelligent simply because of the job that they have.
This woman could not even recognize the American dream if it was fed to her on a silver spoon. But understand that this kind of disdain for working people by the most powerful people in this country doesn't just come from not being raised right. It's a shorthand for Elon Musk and Donald Trump's entire political agenda and a certain, ugly kind of politics Lying to and screwing over working people so that they can steal from our health care and social security and veterans care to pay for tax cuts for the wealthiest and bailouts for their crypto billionaire friends for this corruption.

Ocasio-Cortez has been tipped as a future leader of the Democratic Party with a recent CNN poll finding she led her party among voters who said she most represented their values. In recent days, Ocasio-Cortez also offered a stinging rebuke of Sen. Chuck Schumer's (D-NY) vote to keep the government funded by a GOP-backed spending plan.

AOC: Fox News and the right-wing would have you believe that these American values are something out of The Communist Manifesto. But let me tell you Fox News, I don't believe in healthcare, labor, and human rights because I'm a Marxist.. I believe it because I was a waitress. pic.twitter.com/vBpMVNKNiq

But not logically.

Actually, it was predominately the middle class and working people who elected Trump.

That’s pretty meaningless. The country - no, the whole world - is predominantly either middle or working class. That’s who is casting the most votes because they outnumber the rich. But that’s not the only thing that gets people elected.

The democrats are overwhelmingly party of the rich, including billionaires and hedge fund managers.  that they still cosplay as the party of the working class is nothing but cosplaying.  They live in this fantasy world where they are working class heroes fighting Jim Crow and fascists  all at once.

Oh, the never ending stream of lies people tell themselves to justify supporting Trump. Any political party has - needs - the support of people with money. But literally the richest man in the world bought himself government power and the Republicans are looking the other way.

I wonder how they all felt about Trump after the stock market lost $4.5 trillion. There's no way any of these guys weren't personally financially negatively affected by that.

Lol.  First, and this should be really obvious, attending the inauguration doesn't make them Republicans. You understand  that right?

Second, there are more than 10 billionaires. You know that too, right?  Over 60% of publicly politically   billionaires supported Harris in 2024.

Maybe try to do better than memes.

AOC cares about the average working class American by orders of magnitude more than Trump does.

That's some funny shit right there.  Didn't AOC stop a Amazon from coming to her district that would have provided THOUSANDS of jobs for her district?  Why, yes, she did.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Celebrated Amazon Pulling Out of New York––But the Governor Says It Cost the City 25,000 Jobs

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared victory when Amazon announced Thursday that it would  not build a second headquarters  (known as HQ2) in Queens, New York. Gov. Andrew Cuomo called it a  “lost economic opportunity”  and blamed “a small group [of] politicians [who] put their own narrow political interests above their community.”

Doesn't look like she gives a shit about the working class or her district.

Mass immigration pummels the working class, it results In lowers, wages, inflation, especially housing costs, higher taxes, and increased crime.   AOC and her party  of walll street enrich themselves at their expense.
