Trump "Floats" The Idea Of Sending U.S. citizens to El Salvador Gulag

REPORTER: Over the weekend the president said he would be willing to have US citizens deported to El Salvador. How would that work legally?

KAROLINE LEAVITT: These would be heinous, violent criminals. These are violent repeat offenders. It is an idea he has simply floated.

He is not just talking about immigrants.

He is not just talking about immigrants.

Between Venezuela and now El Salvador one has to wonder if Trump himself is getting kick backs from these 3rd world countries so eager to host (imprison) those that Trump doesn't want.

In a press briefing aboard Air Force One Sunday evening, Trump was   asked   by a reporter about an offer made by Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele to accept prisoners sent by the U.S. from its federal prison population.

"I love that," Trump said. "If we could take some of our 20-time wise guys that push people into subways and hit people over the back of the head and purposely run people over in cars, if he would take them, I would be honored to give them."

"I don't know what the law says on that," he added. "I have suggested that, why should we stop at people who cross the border illegally?"

Podcaster and former Obama administration staffer Jon Favreau   said   Trump's remarks could be summed up as: "He wants to send American citizens to a foreign gulag."

Not "floating", intending and with Republican support they will.

When you look at how many people have been saved from death row by new DNA technology and how many wrongly accused are save by organizations like " The Innocence Project", every American and every religious person should be speaking up and speaking out.

I though it was "America First" which should mean Americans period in everything.

You have to wonder how many "real Americans", aka white, would be on that list.

You can answer according to your truth. . . who cares what MAGA thinks about the truth? It has not stopped them from being negative and hard-cases to date! I say tell the truth and shame the Shameless (to those who still care)! :)

Should Cuban-Americans be deported?

(What race are Cuban-Americans anyway?)

I wonder how many Cuban immigrants he wants to deport. After all, Cuba is a Communist country!

I wonder if he knows what political party most Cuban-Americans vote for?

To further confuse the issue-- what constitutes "White"?

There are many "African-Americans" who "pass". (That means their ancestry is only partly African but its such a small part of their ancestry they appear to be "White"... what percentage is required for Trump and his henchmen to "type" people?

And what about people from the Mediteranean area, those with typically  "Olive skin"? Some appear to be "White" (AKA "Caucasian")-- other appear to be more "African".

(Racism can be difficult at times, LOL!)

We don't have to wonder who will racialize the issue, that's for sure.

One of the "real smart" progressives who gets cited here figured it out. I wonder if the rest of his fellow travellers will ever open their eyes or will continue living in their pretend word?

If you created an all-white country, and it was full of blue-haired genderqueer atheist decolonial-leftist white people, that would be  anathema  to the New Right.   3   Trump’s administration has  harassed Europeans  at the border and is  considering mass deportations  of Ukrainians. Conversely, the New Right has few qualms about accepting Hispanic,  Black  , and  Middle Eastern  fellow-travelers. JD Vance’s wife is of Indian descent!

Do you think Trump would dare send white criminals to an El Salvador prison?

Racism is a manufactured passion anyway. It is one of the damnable things that 'came to America' after the ships landed.

MAGAS we know to what you cater. . . it is no secret: Your whim of the day! Which is subject to change "effective immediately."

And the only constant is this: CONSERVATIVES WHO KNOW THEIR PLACE IN THE PECKING ORDER.

Talk all the smack MAGAs want. . . we see where MAGAs 'squat.'

I think MAGA will send white liberals 'away,' if only to disprove the point you make. But largely because it is RETRIBUTIVE.

Well, one can see that the narrow-minded perspective that is taking shape here. . . because the wider perspective clearly indicates: The Big Payback can be a "Mother" for ya!  That is, karma can be a bitch!

Well, perhaps they should "toss them against the wall and see what sticks!"

Or maybe "Run it up the flagpole and see who salutes"?
