Mosey on over to this link to see the predictions for your region:

I have always thought following the Old Farmer's Almanac was fun.

You can also go to the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration if you want a rocket science approach to your weather predictions:

This summer in my region was pretty strange and unusual. Let's see what winter brings.

Below average temps, and cold again this winter for my area. I hope it's wrong, but I'm taking no chances. Off to the gulf coast for Jan and Feb.

So far, the almanac was dead on target for September this year, and it sounds like winter is going to be a doozy. Oh well, it will be a break. Maybe we'll have some Snow Days! (A thought that still makes me HAPPY, just like I was a kid!)

Thanks, Grump, for the link!
