This is an electric hurdy gurdy, with 2 passive pickups. There are about 12 tracks to this song, and one man plays all of them, on his hurdy gurdy. Two of the sounds are "washed" through a filter, but other than that, the hurdy gurdy makes all the sounds!
This was the theme song for The Poseidon remake. The fellow, lives in Australia!
