Picking winners and losers for World Cup beer drinking

4046_discussions.jpg

A couple of weeks into the 2014 World Cup and the first games in the Round of 16 are shaping up. There will be some exciting match-ups this weekend, and while Im no expert on the beautiful game, I know my way around a beer list. Here are my predictions for the four games this weekend based solely on which country has the better beer (and bonus pairing suggestions for each match).

Good news- I'm off this weekend and so will be able to enjoy a brew while watching matches.

Bad news- the beer I'd really like to try ...

La Trappe Jubilaris label

...is nowhere close by for purchase.

Oh no doubt. I can, and do, get this one close by.

The epitome of wheat beer imho!
