HOUSTON -- A small airplane made an emergency landing in a northwest Houston parking lot early Friday.
The single-propeller airplane went down just after 7 a.m. near Pinemont west of Highway 290, in the parking lot of TAM International, an oilfield service company.
There were no reports of serious injuries.
Aerial views from CBS Affiliate KHOU showed the small, red airplane partially resting on its side. It appeared the pilot struck a grassy area and curb while coming in for the landing.
This could have had a completely horrible ending. I'm glad nobody got hurt.
