I am sorry the man is dead, and I hope he had no to family to leave behind. However, if you play with fire, (like tracking a lion), you're likely to get burned.
Leave them alone. Let them do their lion thing-- we don't need to watch them, or track them, or kill them. Just leave them alone.
That is, of course, just my opinion.
I agree with both of you! Can you imagine being one of the people he was guiding? And being on foot!
It reminds me of the story of two guys salmon fishing in Alaska when a grizzly bear startled them. One man turned to the other and said you know you can't outrun that bear. The other said "I don't have to I just have to run faster than you".
