Intergenerational Justice?
This is not to be a philosophical essay on intergenerational justice. ( http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/justice-intergenerational/ )
It shall be, instead, spare and sparse and even terse.
This is not a question in search of an answer, though answers are welcome, as is dialogue.
I am standing beside a stream, a small river. I have a 55 gallon drum of toxic crap to get rid of. I dump it into the stream. It goes "away" -- right? It is no longer my concern. It is "away".
I have violated those down stream you say?
Must I explain this as an analogy? Surely if I must we are all doomed.
