Joe needs to know the difference between an NDA and an NCA.
NDA is non disclosure agreement meaning you can’t divulge confidential company things. An NCA is a non compete agreement usually with a time frame stipulated that you can’t go to work for a competitor. Thats why the GOP side was loud.
President Biden in that moment was talking about a Non-Compete Agreement, when he mentioned fast-food workers or was it restaurant workers not being able to go down 'the street' and signing up (that issue having been corrected by congress now he says), I am pretty sure.
Yes he was but he said NDA. With a teleprompter. So did whoever wrote the verbiage on that screw it up? Or was he ad libbing and screw it up on his own?
@52.20 "Non-Compete Agreement" - Not "NCA" or "NDA."
Watch Live: 2023 State of the Union Address
President Biden slurs words, 'cuts' off the end of words, even uses the wrong word on occasion. Partially due to a lifetime issue of controlling stuttering and old age. In this case, he got it right. Non-compete Agreement is what he meant to say and did say!
Scott Jennings, republican strategist and PR 'maven' for corporations, just 'delivered' commentary on the speech and. . . of course, it is his view that "Joe" is old and recent polls say No Joe.' It is as if Scott did not listen to the speech to give any positive accolade such as that given by CNN's Wolf Blizzard after him. Maybe. . .
Scott is setting up the Republican Response by Governor Sanders! In 3, 2, 1, . . . .
Governor Sanders is invoking her surgery, which explains the scar around her neck (God bless her to be well and heal well). It is a time for reflection on her part and she is attacking "woke" people and empty rhetoric which is only designed to divide. Okay, I hope her "rebuttal" falls flat in the hearts and minds of the citizenry.
And she wants to talk about 'crazy' and "authoritarianism" as she signs documents to end "Woke" and cancel the word, "LatinX."
Her. . . speech should go nowhere with the masses.
Of course not! President Biden knows and understands government power and government experience to influence and power-through House and Senate chambers. Sarah from Arkansas had a 'job' to do in criticizing the President and slanting the truth.
Sanders' speech is a bitter pill we just got stuck in our throats, . . . and so I spit her and the speech out!
I will say this for Governor Sanders; she is MAGAn in her soul. She is MAGA republican through and through and she will not "hear" nothing good about a liberal or a Biden! Now if it is something bad about a liberal or Biden. . . come on in.
OMG, she is about to 'tackle' Arkansas schools with the biggest expanse or shrinkage of the school system in state history. Get ready liberals! Here comes "Sarah from Arkansas"!!
She literally is talking about her time in Trump's white house in her rebuttal and of course, she/Trump/Republicans make her 'overjoyed' while according to Sarah from Arkansas, liberals are the bane of the 'states.'
These conservatives never forget to try to instill 'patriotic' jingoisms in their public statements. It's so tiresome, because patriotism is an abstract state of existence, not something to be shunted away to one side or the other. It's sad that conservatives think they can 'live' patriotic lives and love this nation more than any liberal!
Scott Jenning, republican strategist and PR "maven" for corporations, just got put in his place by David Axelrod, political consultant in the Obama years, for trying to defend Governor Sarah from Arkansas 'dry' vengeful, message in rebuttal-which had no basis in fact, but was delivered full of toxicity/venom.
I did not cringe for her! That. . .woman. . .just told a national audience to its face that she is preparing to sign legislation or an 'order' with the toxic intent of regressing Arkansas school so far back liberals in the state may have to 'exit' as the word PROGRESS may not be a thing to associate with the state's classrooms!
That is dealing on a whole other level. Well, we will see what 'bleeds' out of Sanders signing document in due time.
Forgive me, women of NT, that "heifer" Governor Sanders just implied she is prepared to out Desantis - Desantis with Arkansas schools. Arkansas will be left holding it 'bloody' ass in its hands from the way Sanders made it sound! We're just have to wait the 'execution' to see just how much pain is coming to Arkansas schools from the dripping pen of Sanders!
No. It's flat out ignorance. They seem to forget that all these problems happened under Biden. With a stack of EOs signed on day 1, can't blame anybody BUT Biden.
"Blah Blah Blah!" Aww! Did the strong capable competent honest and plainly decent President of the United States of America completely destroy your false narrative that he was an incompetent?
What exactly that the President said do you have such a big problem with? His support for the military, veterans, law enforcement? His programs to bring vital manufacturing back to America along with good paying jobs? His belief that we really can do great things if we work together?
The exactly part is the meme is all true...Everything it says is verifiably 100% true!
Great. I can't wait to see you supply the specific verification that the Republicans pray for unimaginable suffering and misery upon the American people. Time to put up or shut up with a lame meme you have used at least a dozen times. Unlike some wines it does not get better with age..
Yep but I haven't had lunch yet and look forward to a word salad response to the post that has absolutely nothing to do with the post being responded to.
I suppose you are a libertarian, who is defending the conservatives with whom you share a common political fence. It is well-known that some conservatives are demonizing democrats professional and publicly, and so are you with your "friend of a conservative" comment at 9.2.
See 19.1.16. You sure don't disappoint. Now how about actually responding to " I can't wait to see you supply the specific verification that the Republicans pray for unimaginable suffering and misery upon the American people. Time to put up or shut up with a lame meme you have used at least a dozen times. Unlike some wines it does not get better with age.."
Nope. You and JBB can have that 'challenge.' I am clear in asking you about your 'friendship' with conservatives at 9.2. Remember, the whole we can do more than one thing at a time-if/when we choose. Prove me right or prove me wrong about this.
The mutual "friendship" and political association you display towards republicans and conservatives. Is it true that libertarians are 'fellows' in government economy policy with "Rs" and "Cs" (moreso than democrats)? Prove me right or prove me wrong.
Actually I don't need to prove anything to you. As of right now the wing nuts of both parties seem to be running the show and politics is more like a sports event where beating the other team is more important than the country. Hopefully that will change. Take that anyway you want.
. Are you an economic conservative and a social liberal? Or some other version of a libertarian.
Maybe but I personally don't like to define myself in a box like that. Generally speaking with a very broad brush I do believe in fiscal responsibility and also believe in helping people that are in need. Generally speaking with a very broad brush I also do not believe the government is very good at either one. But the specifics really depend on the actual issue and not the overall way people like to define others. So on a specific issue I will lean more with one side than the other and that changes by issue, not by ideology. And actually that could change by issue. For example I don't believe in getting rid of AS-15s but I do believe in universal background checks and have no real issue with limiting mag size to 10. So what does that make me? I have no clue. I also believe that global warming is a real issue but do not agree with the way the current administration is going about fixing it. Again, what does that make me?
Actually it does. It aids in understanding you are not an 'ideologue' - a dangerous personage in both political parties. I can respect that. In addition, it explains that you lean conservative on economics and are 'confirming' a degree of care and concern for people ("In need"). That last, could mean different things to different people.
For example, (some) conservatives tend to follow a strict 'father' hierarchical worldview whereby they only seeking the best for those with whom they involve/associate themselves; but, treat others as outsiders, 'demonized,' and 'step-children' left to go along with conservative decision-making.
Whereas, liberals ("maternally") associate themselves with all people, non-discriminating against as many as possible, and places as many people as possible in their political/social inclusion schema.
We have a President we can be proud of, again...
I'm proud to be an American
Under our President Joe...
Exactly. Planning to admit it soon?
If the gop nominates Trump Biden wins!
Please Please Please Nominate Trump...
Maybe. But Joe with Kamala as VP I would not bet the farm on it.
All you need to know 'bout listening to this administration.
I would like to have a MAPA hat, in blue of course and made in America, unlike MAGA hats that are made in overseas sweat shops.
There is always one troll who creeps my blogs.
How does he creep you out?
Joe and Jill look pretty orange. What is with executive branch make up people
Remember when Nixon did not wear makeup?
Kevin McCarthy obviously went for rose tones.
On my set, his tone is similar to Kamala Harris's.
Then you need to adjust your settings...
At least he didn't borrow Mitch's purple lip gloss.
Trying to look like somebody sucessful maybe?
The gop is butthurt, that Biden called them out!
They hide it well.
No, no they did not...
How can you see butthurt?
Quit creeping on me!
Seems like a good speech, but I've never given a lot of importance to state of the union speeches.
In Biden's case it was more like the misstate of the union!
Biden is talking about companies ripping off consumers and how he will stop it. A lot of applause, but Kevin McCarthy sat there like a statue. lol
As anyone would when knowing it’s bullshit
Joe needs to know the difference between an NDA and an NCA.
NDA is non disclosure agreement meaning you can’t divulge confidential company things.
An NCA is a non compete agreement usually with a time frame stipulated that you can’t go to work for a competitor.

Yes he was but he said NDA. With a teleprompter. So did whoever wrote the verbiage on that screw it up? Or was he ad libbing and screw it up on his own?
Is it even possible to be more pickaune?
Yes.
That is not something to be proud of...
Opinions do vary.............a lot
The overwhelming opinion is that Biden nailed it last night showing the world that he is a strong confident capable leader...
That a decent honorable man is in charge.
@52.20 "Non-Compete Agreement" - Not "NCA" or "NDA."
President Biden slurs words, 'cuts' off the end of words, even uses the wrong word on occasion. Partially due to a lifetime issue of controlling stuttering and old age. In this case, he got it right. Non-compete Agreement is what he meant to say and did say!
An excellent speech well delivered well received.
In 3, 2, 1, . . . .
I hope I can get it on a roll of toilet paper.
"Biden gets rave reviews for an uplifting speech!"
Joe is soaking up the moment. He really shined!
Yes, talk about soaking up the moment: Senator Sinema! Did you see that "high" - blindingly yellow with 'wings' dress she was in? Show-stopper!
It was ridiculous and her butt looked huge!
LOL! Okay, I will leave her butt to the 'experts'!
Big Bird Butt! They saw it in outer space.
Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabuck-Sanders is up next with the gop's spin and a big old downer!
I am sure glad I live in The Bronx. It sounds like Arkansas has gone to shit. It sounds like Hell...
It almost sounds like the Bronx
I heard the governor's mansion burned down. They were able to save all of the other trailers though.
Did you know Biden destroyed everything that was good about America in the last two years?
Me neither. Will poor dumb Sarah run in 2024?
Or, how does a Trump - Sanders ticket sound?
She is good as Aunt Lydia on Handmaid's Tale...
I give her that. It was such brilliant typecasting.
Unless her first name is Harlan, I doubt he would choose her.
"Lowest unemployment in fifty years"
Exactly, no doubt the number of people that have to have more than one job to keep their households afloat helps that.....
How are you going to get good workers for slave wages when there are so many jobs?
Perhaps just let 'em come in through the southern border?...
Grapes and oranges won't pick themselves!
They still aren't with the high number of job listings. Thought all illegals were hard workers; or is that just another leftist BS theory?
All? No, but US businesses still hire them.
Nice job by Biden
Now, Trump's fraudulent mouthpiece is delivering the Republican Bizarro World lies.
...
The woman who worked for Trump is talking about "normal" vs. "crazy". It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.
They will not be asking Sarah to do that again...
Yes they would. Magas eat that crap up and beg for more.
Hiss!
Axelrod is 100% correct. Her speech was a total fraud.
It was so bad I got the cringes for her!
Her being so unselfaware was cringey...
Exactly, if only every president could start their term with an ending pandemic.
Bingo!!
The exactly part is the meme is all true...
Everything it says is verifiably 100% true!
And so is the comment at 19.1. It's called opportunism.
if we go by Joey's statement, he should have resigned months ago with the amount of deaths under his watch.
No. It's flat out ignorance. They seem to forget that all these problems happened under Biden. With a stack of EOs signed on day 1, can't blame anybody BUT Biden.

Please be specific and lay it out plainly?
It's cute that you are delusional enough to believe that nonsense.
It's right there in 19.1.6
I wouldn't know as I'm not a repub or a Christian.
Does Biden's current approval ratings in the low 40% indicate that the prayers are working?
The Blame Biden First crowd is ridiculous!
I am sure Putin appreciates their efforts....
Xi surely appreciates yours.
Since when is Xi a fan of President Biden?
Great. I can't wait to see you supply the specific verification that the Republicans pray for unimaginable suffering and misery upon the American people. Time to put up or shut up with a lame meme you have used at least a dozen times. Unlike some wines it does not get better with age..
Time to put up or shut up with a lame meme you have used at least a dozen times.
You know that won't happen. Despite it being false [Deleted]

I will. Notable that you did not answer the question, (Right Down the CENTER(?))
I did. Notable (but not surprising) that you didn't like or accept it.
Let's try it another way and trust that we can put this one away:
1. Are you an economic conservative and a social liberal? Or some other version of a libertarian. Be concise and clear please.
You can answer in layman's terms; keep it simple.
Maybe but I personally don't like to define myself in a box like that. Am I close? (Thank you for opening up a bit.)
