National park closed following arrival of 300 migrants

So, it was necessary to close the park for the safety of visitors and staff? Doesn't that suggest that illegal immigrants flooding into the country pose a danger?
Hey, Kamala, you have a ready made work force that can build, staff, and operate shelters for illegal immigrants. Biden wants to be another FDR so why not create a modern Civilian Conservation Corps staffed by illegal immigrants to support illegal immigrants. You've got all the manpower needed to deal with the humanitarian crisis at the border. These illegal immigrants want to work so put them to work. Surely there are enough closed military bases that can be refurbished and used as support and processing centers for illegal immigrants. And the illegal immigrants can do the work themselves.
Biden and Harris want to score political points by claiming illegal immigrants are a resource that strengthens the United States. So, why aren't Biden and Harris using that resource? Why can't these illegal immigrants bear some of the burden for the problems they are causing?

The National Park Service (NPS) closed a park in the Florida Keys on Monday after about 300 migrants arrived there over the weekend.
The temporary shutdown at Dry Tortugas National Park, about 70 miles from Key West, Fla., could stretch through the week as police and emergency responders assist the migrants, park officials said.
"The closure, which is expected to last several days, is necessary for the safety of visitors and staff because of the resources and space needed to attend to the migrants," the NPS said in a Monday statement.
Across the entire Florida Keys, at least 500 migrants arrived over the holiday weekend. The recent wave of migration is being spurred by economic turmoil in Cuba and other parts of the Caribbean.
Among that total, the NPS said roughly 300 migrants arrived by boat and landed on islands located within Dry Tortugas National Park.
Park officials are providing food, water and medical attention to the migrants until authorities with the Department of Homeland Security take over their cases.
In Monroe County, which encompasses Key West, Sheriff Rick Ramsay said the U.S. Border Patrol would not respond with resources for some migrant landings until Tuesday, which he said was aggravating a "mass migration crisis" on the islands.
"This shows a lack of a working plan by the federal government to deal with a mass migration issue that was foreseeable," Ramsay said in a Facebook statement.
The latest wave of migrant boat landings in the Florida Keys is one of the largest encounters the U.S. Border Patrol and the Coast Guard have faced in the region in almost a decade.
In South Florida, Border Patrol agents have taken more than 2,000 migrants, mostly from Cuba, into custody since Oct. 1, according to local radio station WLRN.

Why dump the burden of supporting illegal immigrants onto citizens of the United States? These illegal immigrants are a ready made work force that can do the work that the Biden administration doesn't want to do.
The only thing that would be required is a little planning. Which, apparently, isn't part of the skill set for the Biden administration. At this point it looks like Biden needs two maps, a GPS, and a Sherpa guide to find his way out of a men's room. And Biden would claim vindication if the Sherpa guide was in the country illegally.

That attempt to sound 'woke' ignores the failure of the Biden administration to provide adequate resources to support its own immigration policy. Biden only uses the issue of illegal immigration to score political points for his own benefit.
The Biden administration isn't adequately serving these illegal immigrants, let alone the rest of the country. Biden is not addressing the issue of illegal immigration in a humanitarian manner. The support provided by the Biden administration is little different than that of Greg Abbott.
I think Abbot and DeSantis got the idea to move illegals out from Biden. Instead of sending them to unsuspecting cities under the cover of darkness like Biden, both Abbot and DeSantis sends them to cities that declared themselves as sanctuary cities and give notification that they were on the way.
And in true Democrat fashion these sanctuary cities cried, declared and emergency and shipped them off for somebody else to deal with.
No, we shouldn't!
