President Biden blames media for Americans' concerns about the economy

Hey, Biden, everything is becoming less affordable. And the government and press lying about the economy ain't gonna stretch the paychecks and bank accounts.
Are illegal immigrants looking for work included in the unemployment numbers? Adding jobs for foreign workers illegally entering the country wouldn't be a feel-good headline. So Biden has to use technicalities and accounting tricks to lie his ass off.
Biden has to bail out college graduates because education now contributes to poverty. Biden spends money on infrastructure that the overwhelming majority of Americans cannot afford to use. Biden wants people to buy more expensive cars, more expensive food, more expensive houses. Biden lambasts profits while throwing boatloads of money at multinational corporations to subsidize things that only the wealthy can afford. Ordinary people cannot afford college, cars, houses, or even utility bills.
Biden has created an economy of debt slaves. That has been the neoliberal goal of Bidenomics. In true neoliberal fashion, Biden lies his ass off about the economy and we're supposed to feel good about it.

WASHINGTON - President Joe Biden blamed the media for Americans' continued anxiety about the economy as he struggles to convince the public that the economy is improving despite a robust jobs market.
Biden touted "good news today" following the Labor Department's Friday announcement that a booming 336,000 jobs were added in September, the strongest monthly gain since January and eclipsing forecasts of 170,000 jobs added last month. The unemployment rate held steady at 3.8%.
"We have the highest share of working-age Americans in the workforce in 20 years," Biden said in remarks from the White House's Roosevelt Room. "And it's no accident. It's Bidenomics."
Yet polling shows Americans remain concerned about the economy primarily due to stubborn inflation, which although down significantly from a year ago, remains above pre-pandemic levels.
Nearly 70% of Americans said the economy is getting worse, according to a USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll last month, while only 22% said the economy is improving. Eighty-four percent of Americans said their cost of living is rising, and nearly half of Americans, 49%, blamed food and grocery prices as the main driver.
Biden, asked by a reporter why many Americans still don't feel good about the economy despite progress on jobs, pointed to negative media coverage.
"You all are not the happiest people in the world - what you report," Biden said. "And I mean it sincerely. You get more legs when you're reporting something that's negative. I don't mean you're picking me. It's just the nature of things."
He added: "You turn on the television, and there's not a whole lot about boy saves dog because he swims in the lake. You know, it's about somebody pushed the dog in the lake. I mean, I get it."
In addition to the robust September jobs numbers, job gains for July and August were revised up by a combined 119,000, pushing the advances for each month over 200,000 and painting a more robust picture of summer hiring than previously thought.
It's a sign that a recession once predicted might not materialize.
"I think the 300,000-plus people who got jobs feel better about the economy," Biden said. "The American people are smart as hell and know what their interests are. I think they know they're better off financially than they were before. It's a fact."

Biden's problem is that the American people are smart enough to know when they're being lied to. And Americans aren't buying the neoliberal bullshit. American consumers are being cheated and they know it.

And yet, Bidenomics to many means being unable to pay debts.
To others, it means dreams of owning a home is put on the back burner because it is out of reach now.
We as a nation and as individuals are awash in debt never before seen at such levels.
Joe had a hand in it.
Deficit set to hit two trillion this year, the highest ever not in a pandemic year.
You can try to slap some more lipstick on the PIG that is Bidenomics, but polls show Americans aren't being bamboozled any longer by Biden lies not his sycophants' deplorable lies.
Misinformation at its finest.
Many of those supposed facts are simply not true and cannot be supported.
Most of the jobs created are part time or in hospitality or retail, very few jobs that pay well or could be considered as a career.
Wages have not kept with inflation and inflation is increasing above historical norms. The cost of housing, energy, food, and fuel is still rising rapidly.
What decrease in the deficit?
If so then prove just one point wrong...
And yet, under wonderful, miraculous Bidenomics, folks still can't pay their bills and inflation is still a problem.
Go figure why the vast MAJORITY of Americans aren't enthralled with Bidenomics and why he has to keep 'selling' failure to the American public.
The FY 23 deficit will be around $2T or about double from last year.
Or, a trillion $ less than Trump's in 2020?
Exactly, it was only Repubs that voted for the CARES Act in 2020.
Biden has THE largest deficit in history that wasn't a pandemic year.
Can you explain why tax receipts have gone down under Joe's "leadership"?
Unions are going on strike because they seem to be having trouble making ends meet in Joe's wonderful economy.
Are union members lying about economic struggles?
Damn media keeps reporting on gas, groceries and mortgage inflation.
Maybe the Biden WH is of the opinion that the media reporting facts are just lying dog-faced pony soldiers.
I don’t know why Biden hates the Canadian Mounties of old.
