Boy, oh boy, all the turds are swimming laps 'round the cesspool for this election.  IMO that's not democracy we're smelling.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., weighed in on former President Trump's recent statements at a rally in Ohio, suggesting that Trump could be looking to "exact a bloodbath" in America if he doesn't win re-election.

While speaking to CNN "State of The Union" host Dana Bash on Sunday, Pelosi stressed that Trump cannot win the upcoming election and spun his "bloodbath" remark as possibly being a threat to Americans.

"We have - we just have to win this election because he's even predicting a bloodbath. What does that mean? He's going to exact a bloodbath?" she asked.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., wondered if former President Trump's recent comments at an Ohio rally meant he was going to "exact a bloodbath" on America if he loses re-election.

During the Trump rally in Vadalia, Ohio, he used the word "bloodbath" following a point he made about putting tariffs on Chinese cars made in Mexico and sold to the U.S.

Addressing Chinese President Xi Jinping, Trump said, "Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you're building in Mexico right now… you're going to not hire Americans and you're going to sell the cars to us, no. We're going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you're not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected."

Immediately after, the former president said, "Now if I don't get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath for the whole - that's gonna be the least of it. It's going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they're not going to sell those cars. They're building massive factories."

Outlets asked Trump's team to clarify the comments, with campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt stating, "Biden's policies will create an economic bloodbath for the auto industry and autoworkers."

When several of these outlets - including NBC News, Rolling Stone, CBS News and others - shared headlines about the "bloodbath" remark without the auto industry context, conservatives on social media accused them of promoting a hoax.

Pelosi also made no effort to add this context during her interview with Bash - nor did the anchor. The lawmaker placed the bloodbath quote among a list of other shocking remarks the media has alleged Trump had made throughout his political career.

She continued, saying, "There's something wrong here. How - respectful I am of the American people and their goodness - but how much more do they have to see from him to understand that this isn't what our country is about? Praising Hitler, praising the Russians. Honestly. Condemning our soldiers for losing, or dying in war, or being captured in war."

"He said, 'What's wrong with Russia? They defeated Hitler.' What about the millions of Americans who risked or gave their lives? What about him saying that soldiers buried in Europe, he didn't want to visit them because they were losers?" she added.

One of the lines Pelosi appeared to be referencing came from a 2020 article in The Atlantic, claiming that then-President Trump called American soldiers who died in Europe during World War One, "losers."

The White House at the time denied these allegations, calling them "false" and a "disgrace."

Not difficult to predict the 2024 election will be a shit stain on history with all these turds vying for air time.  Nancy Pelosi may have a right the say what she wants us to think but does that mean she is allowed to waste our air?

The unbiased liberal press will be playing up every stink simply because they're parasites on democracy.  Today's fourth estate is more about exploiting free speech for money than it is about defending free speech.  Enjoy the smell of democracy while it lasts.

st have to win this election because he's even predicting a bloodbath. What does that mean? He's going to exact a bloodbath?

And this is why despite being incredibly unpopular and under Indictment, Trump is doing so well.  For all their pretended anger about Trump being dishonest, Democrats have him beat.

John Kelly, the person Trump said that to, has verified, this year, that , yes, Trump said it.

The story was reported in Atlantic magazine five or six years ago. At that time Kelly wanted to remain anonymous so his name wasn't used. This year in 2024 when he verified the accuracy of the story he used his own name.

Pretty hard to get worked up over anything Pelosi says.

I don't take her seriously anymore.

Just another Democratic clown.

The meaning behind the "bloodbath" is not clear-cut.

On the one hand, it sounds like an aside from his remarks about the American auto industry. Unrelated mid-sentence tangents have often characterized Trump's campaign speeches. His "bloodbath" comment fits that dialectical pattern, with Trump wandering off and returning to topics on a whim.

Trump specifically spoke of a "bloodbath for the whole country." If his comment refers to the impact of an auto-industry collapse in the U.S. were he not elected president, the delivery of that sentiment was, arguably, unclear.

However, the context of the conversation does seem to give Trump and his supporters, at the very least, a degree of plausible deniability to shoo away critics.

George Conway, an attorney and Trump critic, argued on social media that whether or not Trump was referring to the auto industry, what matters was his consistent use of "apocalyptic and violent language in an indiscriminate fashion as a result of his psychopathy and correlative authoritarian tendencies."

"It's a classic trait and technique of authoritarian demagogues," he said. "He catastrophizes *everything* to rile up his cultish supporters, and to bind them to him, and to make them willing to do his bidding."

The embarrassing part is that Democrats have hijacked the English language.

Watching them defend Brandon the mubbling, stumbling, bumbling Human Fuck Up Machine- while taking out of context every last comment Trump makes.

No, what’s really embarrassing is watching some people here try to shame and gaslight people here into following THEIR preferred narrative.    24/7

Just embarassing …..

Trump world has responded  by suggesting that there’s a context for the comment: In the speech, he was talking about the auto industry and the potential for economic losses against China. That’s a fair point. But we’d note he also said “That’s going to be the least of it,” suggesting a wider lens than simply autos.

But there’s also a context for the entire speech,  which came after an announcer directed the audience to “please rise for the horribly and unfairly treated Jan. 6 hostages.” Trump then saluted the audience, and the speaker system played a recorded version of the national anthem as sung by participants in the insurrection

There is no arguing with people that still are trying to redefine the definition of "is" and claim that a blowjob "isn't sex" to justify Bill Clinton perjuring himself in a court of law.

These are the same people that think that Hur exonerated Brandon in his report.

Pelosi and CNN.  I think Biden saying his son died in Iraq is more reliable than that combination.

Every time someone twists the truth about Trump, or gets outraged about something ordinary that he said or did, it only empowers him. It validates every person who supports him. And it makes his opponents look like a bunch of liars - which, in this case, they are.

The context of his remarks was clear and totally inoffensive, whether you agree with him or not. Stop doing Trump favors. Beat him on the truth.

"He said, 'What's wrong with Russia? They defeated Hitler.'

Well? They did. Did America play an important part? Obviously. But Americans don’t seem to be aware that the Eastern front even existed. Nor do they have any clue that Russia lost over 20 million people - about 40 times the number of American casualties.

I’m not suggesting that’s a reason to like Russia in 2024 (or any year before, really). But Trump was factually correct about them beating Hitler. The proper response to this was not to be outraged at some imagined slight against US troops. The proper response is to point out that that’s a stupid reason to imply that there’s nothing wrong with Russia today.
