Ukraine wins first medal in 16 years at Luge World Cup

This is Ukraine's ninth Luge World Cup medal, and its first since the 2008/09 season.
None of the other teams finished the race.

Ukraine's luge team has won a bronze medal in the relay event at the World Cup, which is being held in Sigulda, Latvia.

Details: The team (Yulianna Tunytska, Ihor Hoi/Nazarii Kachmar, Andrii Mandzii and Olena Stetskiv/Oleksandra Mokh) finished third behind Germany and Austria, who secured first and second place respectively.
