Joe Biden confused as he tries to leave stage following speech

Joe Biden has been brutally slammed after appearing to forget how to leave a stage following another awkward speech riddled with errors.

President Biden has faced questions over whether he is fit to run in the 2024 presidential election following a string of embarrassing gaffes.

After speaking at Prince George's Community College in Maryland on Thursday, the oldest-ever president came in for yet more criticism.

At the end of his speech, Biden appeared to forget how to leave the stage he was speaking on, slowly looking right, then left, and again right before he eventually departed the platform.

Social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) was quick to explode with reaction.

US conservative political commentator and YouTuber Benny Johnson shared the short clip and wrote to his 1.8million followers: "Another day, another speech where Joe Biden has no clue how to leave the stage after."

Several other people replied and backed his comments, with one commenting: "From Joe - I knew where to go but I didn't want to step down as I may fall."

Another said: "Usually, we have those guys on the airport runways to signal him with their lights on which way to go. He was just trying to find them."

A third X user said: "This is getting beyond embarrassing now" while another simply added: "Senility."

The speech saw 80-year-old Biden also make a bizarre claim that he had taught political theory at the Ivy League university - despite only serving there as a visiting fellow and honourary professor.

At one point, he claimed that democracy is "under attack" before quickly discussing his time at the University of Pennsylvania.

Biden said: "We got to fight for it. I taught at the University of Pennsylvania for four years and I used to teach political theory. And folks, you always hear, every generation has to fight for Democracy."

But in yet another embarrassing moment for the president, it has emerged that while he served from 2017 to 2019 as the Benjamin Franklin Presidential Professor of the Practice, there is no record of him teaching classes.

Earlier this week, Biden sparked widespread fury after falsely claiming he was at Ground Zero in New York on the morning after the 9/11 terror attacks 22 years ago.

On Wednesday, The New York Times and Washington Post both published opinion pieces Wednesday claiming the 80-year-old is too old to run for re-election in 2024.

He may only be three years older than bitter rival Donald Trump, but there was still a 26 percent margin between those who think Biden is too old and those who think former president Trump is too old to serve another term- in the White House.

A new poll from the Wall Street Journal on Monday that was conducted from August 24-30 found only 36 percent of the 1,500 people surveyed think Biden is mentally fit for office.

Questions over his health and ability to serve a second time ramped up in June when he fell on stage at a graduation ceremony for the US Air Force Academy.

He was quickly helped up and seated by security officers and aides, with the White House insisting he was "fine" and had tripped over a sandbag on the podium.

It's bewildering isn't it?

After all previous administrations had people who helped other elder statesmen up and down ramps.

You need a refresher course in Brandon.

He liked so much he did it twice

The that nasty Republican sand bag reached out and tripped him!

Brandon isn't just a danger to himself.

But at least robotics engineers have a real life robot to copy the motion of.

Well gee Vic, I guess you won't allow me to show, or state, previous times that presidents were helped off the stage.  I assume you will allow me to post about any other previous presidents but one.  So I will endeavor to find pictures showing it happening to less modern day ones.

So you see.  There are at least 3 other Presidents who have required help getting on and off the stages, not including "he who shall not be named".

So as to your question of why nobody was helping him, I would assume the answer is either he wouldn't allow it, or nobody thought he needed it.

Oh what a 2/3 bullshit exhibition. Neither Nixon nor Eisenhower were permanently in wheelchairs FFS. Nixon was in the hospital for a blood clot on his lung and Eisenhower had had a heart attack. NEXT

But typical of the radical left's repeated efforts to obfuscate Biden's obvious cognitive decline (dementia). I see it every day on MSNBC, CNN, etc as well as read it on WaPo and NYT.

You forgot photos of Reagan after being shot. Remember ... there's a difference between physical injury/disability and mental/cognitive disability. Your examples were of presidents' physical disabilities.

Good try!

Where did I say they were?  At times all 3 needed help onto and off of the stage.  In case you hadn't noticed, that's what we're talking about.

Nope, looked but couldn't find any in the timeframe I had.  But thanks for acknowledging another POTUS that needed help onto and off of the stage.

Fact: that was photos of Reagan exiting the hospital in a wheelchair - not a stage. Stop nonsensical trolling, Ozzwald.

They can always put him on a retractable leash. But given his problem with inanimate objects like sand bags- he would probably just get it hung up on everything.

Maybe laying down alternating lights that flow in the direction he is supposed to go in on the stage floor? Brandon would mistake that for being at an airport and fall on the stage stairs.

A service dog is out of the question. We all know the Biden family only gets dogs that attack everyone else. It would make for great comedy watching the secret service run for their lives at live events- instead of just hearing about it second hand from the media.

No human handlers allowed either. Brandon loves overly long hugs (just ask Hillary); and sniffing hair. It would be far too great of a temptation.

The 2024 election cycle is a repeat. Biden's "mega-rallies" are either videos of him mumbling and blathering about climate change or doing the same in front of a group of 25-50 people at a college.

They can always put him on a retractable leash.

They've already partially done this. He says the quiet part out loud: "I'm going to get in trouble if I ___" and if that fails, KJP turns off his mic when he's in the middle of a garbled sentence and starts playing his favorite lullaby music.

It's sad to see this sort of nonsense used on NT day after day.  NT will get the reputation of being a haven for dumbasses.

Biden does not look confused in the clip. He looks like someone who is asking his staff which one of the exits they want him to use.

Time after time after time we see, when the full picture of the incident comes out, that Biden was not asleep, lost, confused, or dazed.

He IS an 80 year old who moves slow. Sorry , but no part of his job description involves being able to race off a stage.

The White House is altering Biden's transcripts.  Is this legal for the White House to publish lies into the historical record?

White House ALTERS Biden transcript to clean up gaffe implying African American and Hispanic workers don't have 'high school diplomas' | Daily Mail Online

The   White House   has altered the transcript of a speech   Joe Biden   delivered in   Maryland   to remove his suggestion that black people, Hispanics and veterans were unlikely to have high school diplomas.

The   gaffe-prone president   was speaking about the economy on Thursday at Prince George's Community College in Largo.

But during his speech he also made a major slip-up and implied that minorities and veterans were uneducated.

'We've seen record lows in unemployment particularly — and I've focused on this my whole career — particularly for African Americans and Hispanic workers and veterans, you know, the workers without high school diplomas,' he said.

The White House, which publishes official transcripts of his speeches, including the 'umms' and 'ahhs', later corrected his words, in an unusual move.

In the transcript, he is quoted as saying unemployment has been reduced 'particularly for African Americans and Hispanic workers and veterans, you know, and the workers without high-school diplomas.'

The 2 leading candidates are too old for the job, pure and simple. They both need to fuck off and let people who don’t have both feet in the grave take the lead.
