What else are Democrats lying about?
Thursday, June 27, 2024, will go down in political history as the day one of the biggest lies ever was thoroughly exposed. For months, even years, Democrats and their media allies have not only denied that President Joe Biden has lost the mental capacity needed to perform on the greatest stage of politics, but they have viciously attacked anyone who had the temerity to suggest otherwise, going as far as telling voters that what we were all seeing with our own eyes were "cheap fakes" and "Russian disinformation."
But now, after 90 minutes of debate with former President Donald Trump, the world knows the truth: Biden is not fit mentally, as his many pauses, blunders, and simply incoherent sentences demonstrated Thursday night.
There is some pushback from the Biden campaign — a weak and unconvincing effort to blame the night on a cold. But Biden's failures went far beyond a nagging cough. A sore throat does not explain why he bragged, "We finally beat Medicare," or why he rambled on about brothers raping their sisters when asked about abortion, or why he claimed that the Border Patrol union endorsed him when those charged with enforcing our nation's immigration laws despise Biden's catch-and-release policies with every ounce of their being.
These moments were devastating for Biden because they reinforced what anyone who has been watching the president already knew. Until the debate, Democrats were afraid to say what they knew about Biden's health. So afraid were they to admit the truth that they made outlandish claims in the other direction. Here are just a few.
MSNBC's Joe Scarborough claimed Biden is "better than he's ever been." Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said Biden was "sharp, intensely probing, detail-oriented, and focused." Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Biden "is at the top of his game." Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) claimed he had "watched President Biden run circles around senators inside the Oval Office." And not to be outdone, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) claimed Biden "has a photographic memory" and is "sharper than anyone I've spoken to."
Now, these Democrats are singing a different tune, or perhaps they're crying uncle. "Biden looks like the caricature that conservative media has been painting. There were no clips tonight. You saw it before your eyes." Yes, we did see it. We've been seeing it for a long time. It was never a "caricature" created by conservative media. It was the truth. It has been the truth all along.
The damage Democratic Party elites and their media allies have done to their party and the country is incalculable. Democratic primary voters have been denied an honest choice about who should represent them in the general election. All voters have been denied a choice between two competent candidates. National security has been put at risk now that vicious and opportunistic adversaries such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping have seen how weak Biden really is.
The exposure of the Democrats' lie about Biden's health raises two questions: What else are they lying about — in truth, almost everything — and who is really running the White House? On the first question, the most obvious answers are immigration and the economy. The Biden administration denied for years there was a crisis on the southern border until suddenly, in January, it admitted there was one but that it was all Trump's fault. And on the economy, Democrats are still trying to claim everything is great, even as cars and homes become more unaffordable every day and consumers post record-high credit card debt spending.
On the second question, the answer is the activist operative base of the Democratic Party. That is who has been running the country as Biden has rapidly checked out. This cohort of radical operatives is far to the left of not only the average general election voter but also of the average Democratic primary voter. Biden is slipping away and easy to manipulate. The only difficulty is covering up the fact that he has lost it, and they managed to pull that off far longer than many thought possible.
what a nauseating excuse for an article
Glad you stopped by then.
Does the truth about your president nauseate you? There is no way to alter the fact that, collectively, the Dems have told more lies in the last 4 years Trump could even think of.
What do you expect when the guy driving the train is mentally impaired and nobody is in charge? Biden doesn’t have early onset dementia, it is right on time and democrats are defending this. If only there was another choice than the 2 parties are giving us.
Is anyone surprised that the media has no integrity and has lied to the American people? This is a recurring theme when democrats are involved. And we are seeing the fruits of those poisonous seeds, there are many gullible enough to have bought into their lies to the point that they are still claiming that Biden is still mentally competent enough to be president. That disconnect from reality is at a level equal to those trump supporters who still think he beat Biden in 2020.
Doesn't everyone recognize how Democrats do things? Democrats deliberately deny; they don't lie. That's how fact checkers spin everything Democrats do.
Democrats aren't lying about immigration. Democrats are denying there are any problems and gaslight the country that uncontrolled immigration is a good thing. Democrats aren't lying about the economy, They're denying that Biden's bail outs, subsidies, and handouts are indicators of bad economic conditions; gaslighting the country that big government is working as it should.
Democrats are denying Biden's foreign policy, Biden's energy policy, Biden's tax policy, Biden's regulatory policy. Yeah, Democrats will sprinkle enough facts to give fact checkers something to spin with but deny the consequences of those facts.
Democrats aren't lying about Biden's competence, either. They're only denying anything is wrong. And that's why Democrats are constantly blindsided and confronted by crisis after crisis.
You expected anything different?
Let's go back to FDR, he and his cabinet knew what his health was when he ran in 44, the public didn't though.
Ike had a heart condition during the war, and when he had a heart operation in his second term ,the public wasn't made aware until after the fact.
JFK, we knew of his back problems , but there are still rumors he had early onset parkinson's,it's never been confirmed , nor denied.
LBJ, same as Ike a heart condition that wasn't publicized.
Reagan , Alzheimer's in the last couple years of his last term.
Both Bushes, Obama, maybe Clinton, and Carter, no major health issues.
Trump I can't say, I can say I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth about himself.
That brings me to Biden.
Keep in mind I am still coming to terms with crossing the threshold into senior/seasoned citizenship status and qualifying for social security retirement benefits.
Until 2 years ago, I had never heard the term "sundowning". My last and final tenent was a gentleman in his 90s, the last 6 months I had him as a tenent , there was an abrupt change in him ,he went from a model tenent, easy to get along with, to becoming argumentative and purposely destructive with mood swings. Long story short, his daughter got concerned and was trying to get him into a home with 24/7 care, he was fighting it, for issues I won't devulge I agreed to leave him no choice but to have to follow his daughters wishes, I played the bad guy.
The same things I witnessed going on with him , I have been quietly observing happening with more frequency with Biden.
I admit I am no expert, I can only go on my past experiences, and being concerned about something of this nature for the office occupied, is more than enough for myself individually to say , no I can't vote for him to remain in office.
Have they been lying about it or are they lying about it , doesn't matter, I pointed out all the other issues that have been hidden from the public over the years.
The only ones that can decide if they are concerned about this issue enough to not vote for someone is the individual voter themselves.
I think if this had been the end of a Biden second term it might not have caused such a stir, unfortunately, it's not, and he is seeking a second term.
