Wisconsin judge arrested for obstructing ICE arrest at courthouse, FBI says

A Wisconsin judge was arrested Friday after allegedly interfering with a federal immigration arrest operation at the Milwaukee County Courthouse last week.
Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan has been charged with obstruction, according to FBI Director Kash Patel.
Dugan misdirected ICE agents to prevent them from detaining Eduardo Flores Ruiz, an undocumented migrant, after a court appearance on Friday, Patel said.
Ruiz managed to evade initial immigration detention, but was later apprehended after a foot pursuit, according to reports.
Federal agents claim the judge's obstruction increased public safety risks.
Dugan has been on the bench for nine years.

One of the central characteristics of being a competent judge is the ability to apply a law even when you don’t personally agree with it. Many progressives have abandoned that principle.
