Today, the menu consisted of a breakfast taco (potato, jalapeno, spinach on a whole wheat tortilla) and a 'Mango-jito' green smoothie (mango, lemon, lime, banana, mint, leaf lettuce). Lunch was some spanish rice (brown rice) with black beans. I later snacked on some whole grain bread with guacamole. Dinner was artichoke pasta (artichoke flour that is) in a tomato sauce with TVP (textured vegetable protein), carrots, and some spice.

Beverages included the aforementioned smoothie, some orange powerade zero, and a peach mango coconut water.

Ah yes, tacos. My clear cut number one food group.

Anyways, i guess we know what is for dinner in this household. Now to take a trip back into the recent past:

Breakfast was pretty much the same as it is everyday....a breakfast taco/burrito (with the addition of onions and Tapatio sauce and salsa verde) and a green smoothie of my own design (red cabbage, blueberries, mint, banana, Fuji apple, strawberries, and fennel).

Lunch was pretty much eaten over a two hour period and consisted of a black bean soup i made today (starting with pureed eggplant, kale, chic peas, black beans, tomato, onions, garlic, celery, and fennel...finished with corn and spanish brown rice)...i ate around three bowls of that, along with two bananas and two whole wheat tortillas.

At sometime in between all that, i had a handful of dry roasted soy beans, and also snacked on some edamame.

I drank the obligatory powerade zero along with an "Urban Detox"...and, if i ever forget to say it, i always have at least one cup of coffee, and today i also had a vanilla soy iced latte.

Oh let's see. Today, for breakfast i of course had my daily taco/burrito (potato, jalapeno, salsa verde, onion, broccoli, Tapatio) and green smoothie (same as yesterday).

Lunch was also spread out. Had a banana, a bowl of rice pilaf with miso edamame, and a couple pieces of flatbread with pico de gallo.

Dinner was a veggie burger on whole grain bread with veganaisse and lettuce, and a bowl of edamame and stewed tomato with sliced garlic.

A repeat of the drinks from yesterday, although no latte, and more coffee.

Saturday. Had a couple pieces of whole grain bread for breakfast along with coffee. Made myself some artichoke flour pasta with Tofurkey Italian Sausage, kale, garlic, carrots, soy sauce, and Sriracha. Dinner was a sort of stir fry with kale, carrots, onions, peppers, an garlic.

Had some P-ade zero, a Guinness Stout, a Guinness Dark Lager, and an Old Squatters 'Big Cottonwood'....

Had a couple pieces of whole grain bread throughout the day as well.

I bought this current batch on Amazon.

...

It's actually Jerusalem artichoke flower. Very tasty pasta, and very easy to deal with.

Today was Belgium waffle with banana, strawberry, and honey for breakfast. Lunch was a Lentil and rice soup with an Avocado and almond cheese panini. Dinner was Veggie Dogs with romaine, kraut, mustard, and sriracha. I also had a handful of unsweetened raisins and a slice of whole grain bread. Coffee, beer, and P-ade zero.

No prob Tina. That is a good use for Jerusalem chokes. I'm gonna have to revisit that sometime soon.

Today was the obligatory breakfast burritaco (just potato, salsa verde, red onion, jalapeno) and a green smoothie (spinach, Granny Smith and Fuji apple, peach, banana, flaxseed). Lunch was artichoke pasta (with onion, peas, garlic, yellow squash, basil, soy sauce).

Also had coffee and powerade zero and a vanilla soy latte. Ate 4 bananas somewhere in there as well.

Cant say for sure what's for dinner yet.

Right! It is delicious. In fact, we also just had a bowl of pasta with said noodles. Ours had a tomato sauce with zuke and asparagus. Accompanied with a Raspberry Lambic.

I'm glad you like the pasta Tina. :)

Which reminds me, i havent updated this in a few days. So, today was kind of a running day with not much time for proper meals, but i did have the obligatory breakfast burtaco (potato, jalapeno, red onion, salsa verde, black beans). I dont think i ate again until i got home and found Shelly had baked some carob cake (i had a pair of them slices). I also bought some almond milk vegan ice cream and ice cream sandwiches. I ate one of the sandwiches. Milla and i split a couple peanut butter ginger candies i bought a few months ago (but as it turned out were both vegan and free of oils)...and then the aforementioned dinner with a slice of black rice bread. I anticipate some sort of dessert tonight, but what it will be, none can be certain.

Also, i bought a pedometer recently. I walked 7.8 miles from the time i left for work to the time i got back today. Usually, it's closer to 5.9 most days.
