So very, very true, Robert! I do believe that if you have it in your heart to do something for someone who can do nothing for you, and you do it with joy, it shows the finest in you.

Right on target - doing good things in order to be recognized is vanity, doing good things because it is the right thing to do is character and doing good things anonymously shines the light on the deed and not on the doer which is the best scenario.
