Sacha Baron Cohen says he'll 'hire Rudy Giuliani to contest the results' if he doesn't win Golden Globes for 'Borat' and 'Trial of the Chicago 7′

It was a very nice day for "Borat" actor Sacha Baron Cohen.
The film star on Wednesday received Golden Globes nominations for best actor in a motion picture, comedy or musical, for "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm" and best supporting actor for "The Trial of the Chicago 7."
Following the nominations, Cohen joked that he'll "hire Rudy Giuliani to contest the results" if he doesn't win.
"I'm overwhelmed and humbled that the Hollywood Foreign Press has recognized both THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO 7 and BORAT SUBSEQUENT MOVIEFILM," Cohen added in his statement. "These nominations are a tribute to the talented creative teams that led and supported both films from inception to this moment."

Cohen's latest "Borat" movie made headlines last year over a hidden-camera scene in which Giuliani seemed to reach into his pants while speaking with an actress posing as a reporter, which the former New York City mayor later dismissed as him "tucking in" his shirt.
"At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate," Giuliani tweeted at time time. "If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar."
Giuliani contested the results of the 2020 election as former president Donald Trump's personal attorney.

"The Trial of the Chicago 7," which was directed by Aaron Sorkin, received the second-most nominations of any movie, with five nods.
Cohen, 49, received three Golden Globes nominations overall, as he was also a producer on "Borat," which is up for best motion picture in the comedy or musical category.

Ghouliani doesn't have a very good track record.

I did watch the Chicago 7. He deserves an Oscar for that role. He is a really good dramatic actor.
