TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Kid Rock was spotted apparently drinking a Bud Light Thursday night, months after calling for a boycott, according to TMZ.

TMZ obtained a photo and video that appears to show Kid Rock holding the can of Bud Light while at a Colt Ford show at Skydeck in Nashville. Other users on X, formerly known as Twitter, have posted photos from other angles.

Many X users were mocking Kid Rock, calling him a "hypocrite" and a "poser."

Kid Rock went viral in April for posting a video in which he shot up a bunch of Bud Light cans in protest of the company partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

"The former rocker seemed pretty relaxed as he clutched the blue can, taking sips while chatting and laughing with some friends," TMZ reported. "Unclear if there were other beer options available, but Kid Rock's choice seems pretty shocking considering how hard he went in on the brand earlier this year."

Anheuser-Busch InBev, which owns Bud Light, said its total U.S. market share for all brands fell more than 5% to 36.9% in April, but then remained stable from the end of April through the end of June. Some of the company's brands, like Busch Lite and Michelob Ultra, have gained U.S. market share.

Still, the Bud Light saga has been a costly one for the brewer. In June, Bud Light lost its place as America's best-selling beer after more than two decades, slipping into second place behind Mexican lager Modelo Especial. InBev also owns Modelo, but in the U.S. the brand is imported and sold by Constellation Brands.

In the month ending July 22, Bud Light's U.S. retail sales were down 26% compared to the same period a year ago, according to Nielsen data compiled by Bump Williams Consulting. Its year-over-year sales declines have been in the 25% to 30% range every month since the backlash began, the consulting company said.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

And yes he is a poser. He's not a working stiff like most people here. He grew up in as a rich little brat in a rich Michigan suburb

like that Jason Aldean. He does a commercial for Greenway Tractors. They show him riding this big John Deere all around the fields and he's wearing all kinds of jewelry like bracelets and rings.

The first rule of farming, especially doing field work, is take the jewelry off. You never know when you might have to do something and you lose an arm or a finger because of your jewelry

Farmers do have a tendency to trust the equipment or they're faster than the equipment.  We have two in this area missing an arm, one thinking he was faster and could clear a lump of weeds from the pinch rolls, just him grabbing the lump caused the machine to grab hold of the lump and feed it through and it was quicker than the eye to brain and brain to hand and he couldn't let go fast enough and was pulled in to his shoulder, he had plenty of time to think about it as the nearest workers were half mile away when the smoke started rolling from the rolls wearing into the arm bone.

The other had on a pair of loose jersey gloves, he opened up the side hatch at the lower roller on an unloading conveyor, which is really slow moving, he tried to clear a lump of mud while the machine was running and the glove got caught in the pinch point, he couldn't get out of the glove and it slowly pulled in his arm breaking the bones as it went, when it came to his upper arm the machine's hydraulics started squealing and the others on the other side of the truck started to walk that way, when the upper arm bone broke and the machine freed up and ran again as it finished taking his arm off, he walked around the truck at the horror of everyone standing there without his arm.

Then you know what I'm talking about. When my dad was doing anything in the fields he always stopped the engine and the power take-off shaft before he did anything like removing something or fixing something.

This may also be a move on Bud Light's part to start bringing back the customer base, have one of the major critics start drinking your brand again and be seen doing it, as a way of saying that Bud's been punished enough and under the agreement that they will never pull a stunt like that again.

The Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame is a joke in many respects. Chubby Checker had one of the most successful songs in modern history (The Twist) as well as many other hits, and they refuse to put him in. Yet obscure bands and figures that have a niche following are in. I take it all with a grain of salt.
