Trump, Radio Host Attack Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff as a 'Crappy Jew'
Donald Trump agreed with radio host Sid Rosenberg when he called Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff a "crappy Jew."

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

As Donald Trump scrambles to find a line of attack against his new 2024 rival — Vice President Kamala Harris — he's falling back on his basest impulses.

In a Monday radio interview with the conservative Sid & Friends In The Morning show, the former president repeated past assertions that Jewish people who do not support him are bad Jews.

"If you're Jewish, if you vote for a Democrat, you're a fool," Trump said. The former president accused Harris of disliking Jewish people and Israel "more than Biden did."

There's little to indicate that Harris harbors any form of deep antisemitism, especially given that her husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, is Jewish. This contradiction did not escape host Sid Rosenberg, who took the opportunity to attack Emhoff as a "crappy Jew."

"They tell me that Harris' husband — Doug Emhoff — Mr. President, he's Jewish," Rosenberg said. "He's Jewish like Bernie Sanders is Jewish, are you kidding me, he's a crappy Jew. He's a horrible Jew."

Trump responded in the affirmative, "Right, yes," he can be heard saying as Rosenberg rants.

It's not the first time in recent days that Trump has attempted to accuse Harris of being an enemy to Jewish people.

During a Wednesday rally in North Carolina, Trump told the audience that Harris is "totally against the Jewish people"

"It amazes me how Jewish people will vote for the Democrats when they're being treated so disrespectfully and badly," he added. "It amazes me. It's shocking. I don't, I don't get it. I don't get it."

Over the course of his campaign, Trump has repeatedly accused Jews who do not support him of being disloyal to him, Israel, and their own religion and used antisemitic tropes to malign Democratic Jews.

In March, the second gentleman came out swinging against the former president after Trump gave an interview in which he said: "Any Jewish person that votes for Democrats hates their religion, they hate everything about Israel, and they should be ashamed of themselves because Israel will be destroyed."
Emhoff had no quarter for Trump. "This is a disgusting, toxic antisemitic thing to say, by anyone, let alone a former president of the United States, and it must be condemned," the second gentleman responded.

This is Donald being a uniting force?  Does he realize that "Biden did " is the wrong tense, Biden is still the POTUS and not Donald.

True.

And this another (valid) criticism of what Trump said. Harris disliking Israel more than Biden did? Harris hadn't said all that much about the Middle-eastern conflict so far-- but what she has said has been totally "fair and balanced".

But Biden? Not totally neutral-- FWIW he's actually been slightly more "pro-Israel" than not.

In in Deerborn MI,  which has a large concentraion of Muslims-- many are aware of that. In fact when Biden was still running for president, many Muslims there said they were thinking of "staying home Election day"-- i.e. not voting at all because they felt Biden was too pro-Israel!)

Donald, you really are incapable of change. It is very good that you show people what you truly feel.

One would think that after all the bat shit crazy things Donald has said that his die hard supporters would stop and think about it instead of deflecting to "Oh he's not serious" or "he's just joking".

Everything you ever needed to learn about Trump was evident on the Apprentice.  He wasn't acting.

It was public knowledge, as in court record public knowledge, long before he ever thought about that stupid show.

So far he's said things that have insulted two (at least two) groups. African-Americans and now Jews. Does he really believe he can win the election with the votes of only White Christians?  (Or should that be "with only the votes of White Christian Males since he has a knack for insulting women as well).

Has anyone taken stock of the shape and appearance of Donald ("mothball") Trump since Biden's exit from the race? Donald is appearing 'dusty' and every bit his 78 years of age. He even looks too heavy weight-wise for his age. He seems to walk slower and sit with a 'thud' and  'low-sprawling' poor posture in his seat.

Usually, I am not one to discuss appearances. . . but I figure since Donald has decided to question Jewess character traits. . . I would dig a little 'deep' into his personal 'shit' and look all up side his head with a magnifying glass too!

Some of them are so weird that they will probably accuse Jews of anti-Semitism!

Accuse African-Americans of racism! Accuse Muslims of islamophobia, accuse women of sexism, etcetc.

(And don't get me started on cat-lovers-- a major voting block!)

His more sane followers are hoping he will change in time to win in November.

A 78 year old malignant narcissist is not changing for anybody.

That is because you are transactional Donald. And you forget the larger picture. . . Jewish people are not a monolith. They come in political 'lots' like the rest of America! They, clearly, do not support your Trumpist ideology for Israel just because its Netanyahu anymore than I would support African nations that use machetes to hack, clubs to bludgeon, and guns to murder their citizenry.

Amen, Brother.

Trump has never known what the right and proper ways were. He has only known "his" way.

I have never met anyone quite like Donald (that comes across on the tv)-I have never met him in person. Partly, I would imagine in my long life had I come across someone who is as determined to not give a damn about me as Donald. . . I would have "eighty-sixed' his butt pronto. . . in fact, I did do that with some people in my youth! I did not put up with their bull, then and can't do it now either.

All my life, I have never blamed (some) conservatives for some of the weightier 'problem/issues' that formed my youth and young adulthood. It is not until recent that. . . as I look over the long course of my life-I see just how negatively overinvolved (some) conservatives have been in fracturing my life's course/story.

I can only wonder if other liberals can do the same. . . .

It would seem that some conservatives have been taking issues with liberals and progressives as long as the 'day' in our country is 'long'—without the liberals really taking stock of the same (in similar manner).
