Everyone Can Tell Stories
Sponsored by group Paranormal Stories & Stuff FOR FUN
I am going to post a picture and I would like everyone to tell a story about the picture. Let's start the New Year with something fun instead of all the same shit different day crap.
Billy and Ed snuck into the abandoned hospital on a dare by a group of their friends. They were told that everyone in the group has already gotten in and returned with an object from inside the building. Billy boosted Ed through a ground floor window and waited for Ed to reach back out for him. After waiting a couple of minutes he harshly whispered "Ed, let's go". Ed's head popped through the window and he said, "Sorry I thought I heard something".
He reached down and helped Billy through the window. As they both sat on the floor catching their breath they did hear something. A faint scraping noise as if something was being dragged along the floor above them. Billy turned on his flashlight and growled "They are trying to scare us. Come on". Ed, not as sure of that shook his head and followed Billy as he scampered towards the stairwell.
On the first floor they both leaned out of the stairwell and were silent, listening for the sound. Again it came, one floor above them. They flew up the stairs and burst out onto the second floor. They noticed movement in the darkness and raced down the hall, sure it was one of their friends. They rounded a corner thinking they had the person trapped and Billy shown his light down the hall & there was no one there. Then more scraping - one floor above. They ran back to the stairs and up the next flight.
They came out of the stairwell and again saw movement down the hall. Billy flipped his light towards the movement and saw a shadow figure on the wall next to a doorway. There was no one there casting the shadow. It moved towards them and they screamed and pounded down the stairs. On the ground floor they dove through the window. Before he went through the window Ed looked back over his shoulder. There standing was a dark figure - it waved at him and that sent him out the window.
Heat. Searing heat. Tendrils of flame snaking through the smoky haze to embrace with pain. And fear. Urgent, overwhelming fear. Fear of what may be found. "IS ANYBODY IN HERE?"
The building is quite old but not neglected. No amount of care can turn back the ravages of time. Certainly not modern but not shabby by any means. A place for the elderly, the addicted, those down on their luck, the less affluent. The struggling. The forgotten. Something less than a home but much more than a place to live.
"Building clear!" The fear subsides. Now it's down to business. The devil can be fought now.
The newspaper reports a fire in some building somewhere. The fire department responded and quickly brought the fire under control. The cause may have been a careless cigarette, an attempt to make a banquet from meager fare, a heater to help an aged furnace that no amount of repair can revive, an extension cord attempting to bring modern life into the past. The building experienced minimal fire damage and extensive smoke damage. No injuries were reported.
But the newspaper hasn't captured the story. The charred remains and blackened walls tell another story. A story courage. A story of fear. Urgent, overwhelming fear. "IS ANYBODY IN HERE?"
You have opened a portal to another dimension. An alternate reality if you will. What you see, feel, hear, and taste will be nothing like you've experienced before. Do you have the courage? If so, accompany me on this journey where time has ceased to exist

OMG-- that's scary!
Don't tell me that I've unknowingly entered...The Twilight Zone!!!
If you had the time it would be scary and wild. Maybe something about a fishing trip with drinking involved and some crazy characters from some website
Bubba and Cletus accidentally walked through a portal that led to a new dimension. Alcohol might have been involved. Fortunately for them they remembered their fishing gear and the new dimension led them to a trout filled stream. Unfortunately, the Beings inhabiting this dimension were not human and didn't appreciate the intrusion. After a one-sided fight the Beings confiscated their fishing gear and their beer and threw their asses back thru the portal to their own side. Then locked the door
They stood there in silence, the only noise was the rapid beating of their hearts. The silence surrounded them with no hint of breaking until their nervous laugh broke it. Let's get out of here Billy it's kind of weird. Naw, it's nothing Ed just an old building with its creaks and groans. I'm going through the door to see what's in the room Billy said. As he stepped into the room the shadows engulfed him, dancing along his spine as he was frozen in place.
Shaking with fear Ed peered into the room only to see Bill's body being contorted by some strange unseen force. Ed turned to run but he to was engulfed by the shadows unable to move he to began a strange dance. Unable to control their movements or to scream for help they were locked into a shadow world that was slowly embracing them in a dance of death.
Here is this week's picture.

Billy and Ed could cover more ground if they split up.
Ed told Billy what he saw and Billy said..."It sounds like its friendly! Let's go back in and try a little courage this time."
Ed told Billy, "I forgot the whiskey flask."

I don't have the talent to write a Twilight Episode
