ESPN's "Monday Night Football" mocked the Patriots with a cartoon animation that was described as "disturbing" by a Boston radio host during New England's 38-9 loss to the Bills.

Parodying the famous scene from the 2003 movie "Love Actually" in which a character professes his love for another with cue cards on Christmas Eve, an animated Bill Belichick shows up on Tom Brady's doorstep to share a message for his former quarterback.

"Since you left me, Tom," reads the first cue card, which is followed by others listing the Patriots' misfortunes this season, their first without Brady as their starter since 2001.

Without Brady, the 6-8 Patriots saw their 11-year playoff streak and NFL record of 17 straight 10-win seasons snapped.

Brady, meanwhile, has helped lead his new team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to their first trip to the playoffs since 2007.

The animation lasts all of 20 seconds and ends with Brady slamming the door on his former coach.

"Monday Night Football" has long been lauded for its quirky, innocuous statistic-based animations, having won three Emmys, but this skit was met with mixed reviews.

"This is disturbing," wrote 98.5 The Sports Hub host @ChristianArcand.

It was "nightmare fuel for New Englanders," according to @Andrew_Pelc.

The feedback wasn't all negative, though.

"Best graphic of all time," wrote @kokogadget1, as many others celebrated the fall of the Patriots.
