Megyn Kelly thought Jennifer Lopez and Shakira wore outfits that were too revealing when the singers performed at the Super Bowl halftime show two years ago.

"I object to like J.Lo and Shakira showing their vag at the Super Bowl," the former Fox News primetime star said on her podcast on Friday.

"Like I don't want that."

Kelly waded into the issue when discussing women "embracing their bodies."

"It's gotta be situation appropriate," she told her guest, comedian Bridget Phetasy. "But I don't really object to just women embracing their bodies or showing up their bodies like the pictures."

Kelly was complimentary toward former supermodel Paulina Porizkova, the 57-year-old widow of late Cars frontman Ric Ocasek, who has been active on social media, posting photos of her nude or scantily clad body as a way of embracing aging.

Earlier this month, the Czech-born beauty posted an image on Twitter showing her wearing a thong bikini while the camera is aimed at her backside.

"Paulina Porizkova just had a really interesting post," Kelly gushed.

"She showed her bottom [and] she looks amazing."

Kelly's criticism of J.Lo and Shakira echoed that of several parents who said it was too risque for a mass audience that tuned in to Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Feb. 2, 2020.

The eye-opening number included a bit where J.Lo straddled a pole with her legs.Getty ImagesSeveral people took to Twitter following the performance to criticize the R-rated display.FilmMagicThe two Latina pop stars shook their booties in front of an audience of hundreds of millions worldwide.FilmMagic

Bronx-born pop star Lopez was seen writhing her way around a pole while Shakira, a Colombia native, twerked and belly danced — all while both of them wore skimpy outfits.

"Not appropriate for kids at a Super Bowl halftime show. Just J Lo's outfits in general," one outraged Twitter user, TurtlePower98, posted.

Another pearl-clutching critic went further: "Absolutely the worst, most vulgar halftime show ever."

Megyn Kelly?

Isn't she doing a podcast somewhere?

Did they really do what Kelly claimed?  Why wait 2 years?

I haven't seen her name in years. She must need a ratings boost, wherever she is these days!

I'd like to see Megyn Kelly pole dance. She's an attractive woman.

I wouldn't go that far, but I never allowed my young children to watch scantily clad women provocatively twerking and spreading their legs.

There was a time when half-time shows were enjoyable, super-star entertainment and not x-rated sexual titillation.

The sexual implications of the halftime shows are a counterpoint to the military tinged pre game shows with the fighter jet fly bys and the giant American flags and the uniformed color guard. They've even had military parachute jumps onto football fields for the pregame show. It all washes out in the end.

Just to be clearer, if the Super Bowl can be a quasi military activity, why cant it be a quasi sexual one? Two sides of a coin.

I'd just as soon see them just play the game without any pageantry.

Oh? That's an interesting point of view/excuse/rationalization.

I like to think a lot.

But seriously, why is it ok to make a military display at the Super Bowl but not a sexual one?  I doubt you or anyone can answer that. The Super Bowl is a sporting event, not a military one or even a patriotic one.

Now I should say that the military affectation in the pregame doesnt personally bother me, but neither does the halftime show, although the half time shows usually bore me. I'm not a fan of most of that music.

It's easy for me to provide an answer. The Super Bowl and other sports games are supposed to be family-friendly ... apolitical and not sexual. A "military display" does not exhibit/imply x-rated sexual behavior, but the Super Bowl shows often do. Very simple.

Patriotism and fly-overs aren't ugly things. In fact, they are unifying and a teaching moment for children. Most parents wouldn't knowingly take their children to R or x-rated movies or games, but they do like to teach their children to be proud of America's greatness. Again, very simple.

ALL of that is just your personal opinion. Military displays have no more relevance to a football game than booty shaking does.

Patriotism and parental teaching moments are just my personal opinion? Interesting!

Stop moving the goal posts, John. We weren't speaking of relevance

Oh please.  You've never taken your kids to the beach?  There's a lot more to see there than I've seen in any half time show.

I took my children to beaches in the US dozens of times, but there were never any women or even young girls twerking or spreading their legs open.

Good luck finding any half time activity that will satisfy all the people all the time.  Maybe they should just poll everyones’ favorite Friends episode and just fill the time airing that.  There’d probably still be two fist fights over the choice.

So it's okay for an aging supermodel to show her ass but not for these two entertainers to wear skimpy costumes ?

I don't see any "vag" there, Kelly.

Really? The good folks doing the kneeling didn't seem to think it was all about nothing, but thanks for clarifying!

I agree with the basic concept that Super Bowl halftime shows, in particular, should have a level of modesty that respects the fact that kids are watching. Having said that, I couldn’t say one way or the other if either of these performers went too far. I’m not about to pull out my magnifying glass to see if I can spot some vag. From a distance, at least, these outfits seem fine to me.
