This is the effect that Trump can have even based on the possibility that he might be PotUS.   Imagine the impact if he is the PotUS.

Trump can intimidate Bezos with the power of the presidency.   What is the limit here?

People wonder what Trump may or may not do.   People dismiss the idea that Trump could wield the power of the presidency as a tyrant.   People need to recognize that the other presidents we know of were responsible. 

The most out-of-control PotUS we have experienced has been Trump.   If he is reelected he will be unchecked, empowered and emboldened.   And our system is not nearly as impenetrable as we have believed it to be.

I saw an analysis that seems important: this event is a declaration of capitalism's triumph. Bezos serves Bezos. Nothing else matters.
