"you blew it" ...

somehow I'm thinking she isn't taking that tweet as an insult.

The fringe lawmaker cast her ballot in favor of Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in the vote that ultimately cast him from his post, despite other less conservative members like self-described moderate Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) voting to remove him.

"No for now," posted Boebert on X. "Now is not the time to remove the Speaker and I have decided to vote against the motion to vacate the chair. I too am frustrated by the broken promises, secret deals, and failed leadership. Time and time again we have seen legislation come to the floor that the majority of Republicans do not support."

It was just a few days ago that Boebert snapped at a CNN reporter asking where she stood on the matter. She exclaimed, "I'm not Matt Gaetz!" It may have been a hint into her thinking.

Her statement Tuesday drew the ire of Donald Trump loyalists who don't like McCarthy and want to marginalize Democrats entirely.

"The people of Colorado will not forget this," said @SpaceCrypto, a verified account saying that says its administrator likes MAGA, bitcoin and weed.

"Boebert: 'I too am frustrated by the broken promises, secret deals, and failed leadership.' Also Boebert: 'I support the person selling us out,'" said another verified account, @BachelorJoker, whose owner claims to live in Arkansas.

"Too late. You blew it. It's going to be very difficult for you to recover from this. You betrayed your base," raged X user Mark Watson who then began promoting Trump for speaker.

Texan Lisa Alexander proclaimed, "Done with you."

Hostilities continued, with some exclaiming, "Sell out!" or "You lost ... and the people are for Matt Gaetz."

"We trusted you, Lauren. I'm so disappointed," said another person.

"Wow! Turn coat sell out" the accusations continued. "You flip you'll flop."

"Just say it. They got to you," a conspiracy theorist posed.

And the inevitable: "You blew it.... something you're very good at doing."

the elephant in the rwnj closet ...

it's fun watching the conservatives completely ignore the historic magnitude of failure that their incompetence and infighting has created in the house.

what's even more hilarious are their attempts to blame their total dysfunction on the democrats...

‘…the elephant in the room...”

…time to change their mascot to an ostrich…let us stick our head in the sand and be content in being entirely flightless.

2 out of 3 falls that evening, and an encore performance before room service arrives in the late morning. she calls it the "aspen special". you really didn't think that the original "shooter's grill" name had anything to do with a restaurant, did you?

oops, sorry, that's kind of an inside joke. I had seen her a bunch of times years ago when she was working the choke and puke window at the McD's in rifle colorado, way before she got her teeth fixed...

Right? Trying to remember what went down on my first date with my wife. I can't, but I'm 100% positive it didn't include a handy in a public place.
