Photos from around the world. I originally intended to post winter photos from Jilin, China, but I decided to post them on the Discovery Group instead, where I have more control over the comments.
A group of excellent photos.
I enjoyed the photo of the Christmas Tree in Tirana Albania, a 99% Muslim country which I had the pleasure of visiting years ago.
Beautiful, exceptional!
I will post a link to this article at the top of this week's Three Day Weekend feature. It deserves recognition.
I didn't feel that the photos were exceptionally creative, but they were photos of interest and as I said I intend to post an article each week once you close the weekend article.
That depends on how one thinks of "creativity". Almost anyone can take a photograph; but the effectiveness of any photograph ultimately depends on a number of factors, IMO, the most crucial of which being composition. A photographer makes a decision every time he clicks the shutter release. The photographer who, whether instinctively after years of experience, and/or deliberately, incorporates the understanding of what is to be isolated and recorded of all that is in front of the lens, eliminating every distracting element before the click, CREATES the best possible image under the circumstances.
My 2 cents.
Your 2 cents just purchased an agreement.
Some interesting photos here. I particularly like the parachuters with trailing smoke.
Great photo essay, Buzz. Very interesting.
