It should be appreciated that although those photos are not vintage, they appear to be because of what they depict, save for The Wall which by desaturating could appear vintage.

Morning...they were brawling on the fence at 3am the previous morning right outside my bedroom window...

He was grunting and she was screaming it honestly sounds like someone is being murdered...it makes you blood run cold until you work out who and what it is..

I love them and protect them at any cost, but that is really pushing it..

Ahh no need they get high on the eucalyptus... never seen a Koala with a cold yet..but geez you can smell where they have been..

For some reason they seem to pee on my letter box quite abit..

The smell is enough to knock you on your back...

And so is the whole neighbourhood..

They are not very considerate citizens..

They are loud, known party animals, can turn aggressive, grunt and scream, wee and poo everywhere and generally create mayhem when they walk into shops or down the main street in town..even create car accidents as people avoid hitting them...

But we wouldn't be without them..

Morning... fireworks are illegal here, they were banned years ago..

No I would never do them any harm and they are only cranky a few times a year..so we just put up with it.. it's actually nice to know they are around..

The 60 gallon cube project is ongoing. On Saturday I got the substrate and hardscape in.

800

On Saturday I put in the epiphytes - anubius and narrow leaf java fern - and then filled it up to cycle.

800

It was looking good on Monday morning!

On Tuesday during my lunch I had gotten a delivery of additional ceramic media and decided to toss a couple of bags into the sump. Lucky for me that I did because there was a leak in a seam. So I had drain the tank, put all the plants back into the bucket and take the tank down. It's sitting empty in a corner now. Lesson learned - don't buy used tanks on FB.

800

The good news is that, as I said above the project is ongoing. Petco had a 60 gallon frameless cube that I picked up right away. I drilled it last night and I'll be working on that over the weekend again.

If the new one turns out as good as the ''leaker'' it's going to be a beauty.

Well I had the hardscape all back in Friday night. Saturday morning I added the plants and started to fill it, but the wood floated and everything broke apart. So I drained it and started again. Saturday into Sunday the wood floated breaking it all apart again. I think I have it set now. I will fill it tonight after work. If this doesn't work I'm not going to do it another time.

A while ago I posted a challenge for members to edit to improve a photo I posted, and asked them to post a photo that the rest of us could edit to attempt to improve it.  There wasn't much interest shown, but editing is fun and rewarding.

"Sorry I missed that, but challenge belatedly accepted"

Well, I thought that photo was pretty good.  When A.Mac saw it the first time I ever posted it a long time ago, he called it "a magazine cover", so I didn't mean editing to change a GOOD photo, but when I posted the challenge I used an example of a fairly lousy photo that COULD be improved by editing. It was a challenge to change a really bad photo into a really good one.

To give you and others the opportunity of show your skills, should I do a new challenge it the beginning of next weekend's article?

However, you DID change a really bad haircut into a good one.  LOL
