Good evening.
...and Good Morning, as the case may be.
Good Afternoon...
Now it's good evening...
I can't remember the last time I was at the garden of the gods, and I live in colorado most of the time. I think my son said they're rebuilding the trails or something due to some natural calamity a couple years ago, but I really can't remember. please remember to vote up the article, art lovers.

Arvo..Uluru in Central Australia...it changes colour especially in the evening depending on the weather..not my photos...
That is amazing.
The last time I was out there to see Uluru it rained (very unusual) the waterfalls that formed were just beyond description. A sight one is not likely to forget.
Evening... it's raining on the rock..
wow, that rock must've been a lot bigger before all the sand washed off it and created australia...
Morning...all of inland Australia was under the sea..hence many spectacular rock formations..
Not far from Uluru is Kata Tjuta..it to changes colour with the weather...
Not my photos...
I'm a big fan of red sandstone...
China is a very colourful country:
Temple of Heaven, Beijing
.
I call this one "Primary Colours" - a monk at the White Horse Temple, Luoyang, Henan Province
.
A building at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Chongqing
.
Buddha, but I don't remember where. It could have been up on the Sacred Buddhist Mount Emei in Sichuan Province.
.
The walls of a cave lit up in Guilin, Guanxi Province
.
Zijingshan Park, Zhengzhou, Henan Province
.
A shop in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. At New Year / Spring Festival, decorations being sold are usually red, for good fortune.
And at night as well...
A cruise boat on the Yangze River, Chongqing
.
Chongqing mid-town
.
Radio and TV Tower Chengdu, Sichuan Province
.
A moored restaurant boat in the canals of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province
Evening...can't beat lights at night, water and the reflections...
The change in rock looks so much better, I think. I also moved and added a couple of other plants. A dozen fish from my local fish store should be ready for pickup after work today.
Yes, much better. There was something jarring about the two totally different layers you had before. Now it's consistent, and you've also put in some stones with different colouration that provides a little variety making it more eye-appealing.
Morning... your tanks look absolutely brilliant...you certainly have a great talent in creating..
I picked up 11 yellow lab cichlids and 3 turquoise jewel cichlids.
They show up very nicely in front of the stones.
More Garden of the Gods.

I really like that photo - fabulous contrast.
Hey Art,
What is it Hal?
See that sexy blue heron over there?
sure do, really has a great pair of er...Wings.
Art, I think I'll go over turn on my charm
Hal: Oh no, Artie, remember the last time.
Art: Well that was just an accident, nothing serious
Hal: a two foot beak stuck in your butt isn't serious???
Art: shut up Hal, I'm going over and charm her right out her feathers.
Art: Hey there beautiful, I'm Artie, nice looking wings you have.
Heron: Get lost.
Art: That's no way to talk to a ladies man like myself.
Sounds of scuffle and then Art running away from the Blue Devil.
15 minutes later Ocala Memorial Hospital.
Hey Doc got us a pelican asking to be admitted to Emergency, is it OK?
Doc: Damn it's Art again mess with big blue birds is not a good idea.
Full frame images! Most impressive.

Morning...that almost looks like Mt Everest..
Same comment as in 7.1
Morning..my tomato crop and more to come.. lucky I only planted two seedlings..
What? That much comes from 2 seedlings? I love tomatoes, just like my father did before me. He would eat tomatoes like we eat an apple, just bite into it. What I can't understand here is that all the tomatoes that are sold are not ripe, they're hard as rocks and a lot of white inside instead of all red. They have no idea whatsoever about how tomatoes should be eaten.
Arvo buzz..that is the third haul off the bushes..my best friend gave me four seedlings I gave two to my SIL thank goodness I did..
The bushes grew to over 7 foot tall and I had to tie them to the fence..some got fried on the bushes when we had three days around 40c but everything got fried after those couple of days.. including the cat..spent the entire time under the bed..
... nobody likes baked feline.
... even if accompanied with a lot of cherry tomatoes. try adding some green peppers or onions...
Morning...well the roasting dish with tomatoes onions and capsicums was looking good this morning..
The cat was sitting on me at 3am bellowing.. thought it might want to go out...oh no takes me to her food bowl as it was empty..
It's now sitting outside in the drizzle..😁😁
A lot of fresh tomatoes in stores are like that here too. I suspect the produce industry has been breeding for looks and not necessarily for eating quality, thinking that pretty on the outside sells better.
Morning...and yes that applies to strawberries here.. look nice on the outside but white, pithy and tasteless on the inside..
I stopped buying them years ago as they are just plain horrible..either grow your own or go to the local strawberry farm where their strawberries do have taste...
Come to think of it, strawberries can be like that here, too. Not all of them, but some.
Here the strawberries that are imported are like that, big, wrapped, hard and not tasty. Best to buy the strawberries from the farmers selling them on the street, but wash them carefully.
poor kitty. waking the staff up to prepare a snack in the middle of the night always has re-purr-cussions...
my sister grows tomatoes, so I can barely gag down tasteless store bought tomatoes anymore ...
Morning...a vet threat usually does the trick..but I wouldn't be without the flea bag..😁 umm wouldn't say staff more like slave..
I know exactly how you feel - my Fidget, RIP, could do no wrong for his 17 loving years.
I normally fry some cherry tomatoes to go with my breakfast eggs. Eggs and tomatoes go really well together - sometimes I make a sliced tomato and chopped egg sandwich - delicious.
looking very regal and stoic...
obviously abused beyond measure, from a feline perspective...
Totally... surprised it hasn't called the RSPCA to say it's been starved when the food level reaches half way..🙄
Then when I am not quick enough to fill it, I get the "peasant" look..
It sure doesn't take many plants to get a whole mess of 'maters does it? Especially with cherry tomatoes.
It's supposed to rain here tomorrow, so today I spread a bunch of manure and hay around the garden and tilled it in a bit. The asparagus is starting coming up, but tomatoes are still months away for me. Probably not before July, like usual.
A rare photo opportunity. Crows are very standoffish and almost never give me a shot.
Yellow alyssum, with irises coming up behind it.
The crab apples were gorgeous for a while, but a couple of freezing nights killed the blossoms. The red buds handled the freeze better, and are getting pretty now.
The freeze turned the crab apples brown. A little sad, not only because they aren't as pretty as they were, but also because the bees weren't done with them yet.
Red bud blossoms.
The freeze also hurt the hyacinths, but tulips started popping up afterward.
Nice Spring photo essay!
Yes, nice to see the flowers. I'll do mine next weekend article.
Arvo.. ahh Spring!!!...
You feel so far away..😞
Crab apples, time to pucker up when you eat them.
Yeah, but mine are just ornamental. No fruits of any real size, just a few pea-sized things sometimes.
For some reason the word "crab" makes me think of a teacher I once had, even more than the seafood version.
Perfect catch of the elusive crow, and I like the way the tulip is isolated in that bottom photo.
Calling it for now; back Thursday.
Thanks to all.
