What bird is it, Thomas?  I might be able to find an audio of its song on Microsoft Bing Search.

I haven't been posting much the past few months due to some injuries that have confined me to a wheelchair so I've posted some older photos and some from the Stone Creek photo club and will be doing that for some time to come.

This is how I feel currently:

Hey, that's awful.  Get your legs back soon, okay?  I'm not posting photos these days cause they're gone with the dead computer.  I do have the most raw originals on flash drives and on my camera's memory chip.

I feel you brother. had to buy a new cell phone 2 weeks ago, when I left the store my cell phone goes off. I look at it, trip on the curb and fall, and jam my elbow into my chest trying to save myself. ow. my annual physical is 3 days later and Dr says I cracked a few ribs. on the plus side, at least my brain thinks it's still only 27...

Evening Kavika...

Yes it is always hard when the human body packs up and you can't do the things you want to and love..

But slow and steady as you go, take it a day at a time and remember tomorrow is the dawn of another new day..

Big hugs from across the Pacific..

You are strong in mind, body and soul...🦘🐨

Here we are on the whale watching tour.

To get shots of the orcas in the rain I used my 200 - 600 mm lens under a $3 rain poncho and some gorilla tape.

Evening evil.. brilliant photos...

The whales have just started coming into the harbour here..one advantage they swim up and down the pier about 20 metres from it. So no boat required but they do create traffic jams on the pier...

They roll on their sides and watch the people as they swim past..we mainly get the Southern right whale..not the most attractive of whales but we love them..

We also get the humpies (Hump backs) and Blue whales going past the head lands about 15 kms away..

Not my photos..

Morning evil.. just looking at the orcas again and some of them appear to have yellow markings..

Is that normal or just the angle the photo was taken? I have only ever seen black and white orcas..

Happy Monday! The naturalist with the tour said they start off with the yellow markings as babies. They get more white as they mature. This was a family pod of 4 and I got more shots of the baby because it couldn't stay under as long as the adults.

nobody sane goes out in the heat in phoenix, but you could still spare a few degrees of latitude south without slow cooking...

try the mountains where it's a lot cooler and harder to breathe for midwesterners...

Haven’t posted anything today; first time in a while my wife could walk for an extended period of time because of decreased hemoglobin levels due to her chemotherapy.

Also sent some videos to a friend.

Be safe and well everyone.

Evening..good to hear re the walking..

I think I was one of the lucky one's.. radiation and chemotherapy didn't have to many disastrous effects on me...

Take it slow and steady as it is amazing what the human body can do to recover..

Best wishes to you both from across the Pacific..
