I didn't take a photo of it, but the breakfast I made this morning was a cheddar cheese omelette, fried baby tomatoes, toast with marmalade and raspberry jam, a glass of orange juice and a mug of fresh-brewed coffee - very satisfying.

My new project is the UNS Foresta 60E Paludarium. It has the same footprint as my shallow office tank that it is replacing. The setup comes with a rear chamber lid, the return pump with pickup tube, an atomizer to make mist, sponges and thread to tie plants to them.

800

The water and mist come through the slots at the top to create a wet wall with the sponges. I battled the mosquitoes to collect my own moss up at the 40.

Unfortunately the return pump failed. The manufacturer is sending me a new pump. I had to pull the moss sponges and put them along with 3 mini orchids that arrives yesterday into closed bins to keep them moist while I wait. I also have aquatic plants and mini ferns coming next week.

While I waited I've been playing with the hardscape. I think I like this...

800

It uses some pagoda stone and the wood that was in the shallow office tank.

That wood could be used as a prop for a horror movie.

Morning...when I was on Norfolk Island in February old man whiskers reminded me of horror films..if this grows on trees it's because the air is so clean and pure..

You see it all over Norfolk island...

Very nice; a distinct composition that certainly qualifies as a "genre painting". Betcha' a "bamboo" frame would make this a classic!
