Your wilderness photos are great, and this one with a person on the road in front of a flaring sun is fabulous.
Nice edit. Nice late fall scenery. Winter is coming.
It's a little early, but I'm already in the mood for some spooky Halloween image-editing.
Evening Mac...I find the photo of the person standing at the end of the road as it stretches either before them or after them rather poignant.
You can look at it, the road walked along is now in the past or standing there looking down the road what is to come..
I find it very touching and symbolic of the path I am on along with Mrs Mac looking back over the last 5 years with the myeloma..
Hope you and Mrs Mac are going well as I am..and I am so looking forward to Summer...
Thank you Shona. Five years is about how long my wife has had the Myeloma; she deals with it as well as can be expected but suffers with the chemo side effects more than she lets on.
Hope you are doing well and thanks for being a key part of the group.
Evening...yes I have just passed a two year mile stone...been off all medications and treatment for two years now...so far no sign of the myeloma..could be the Vegemite I think..😁
The only thing I have done is a Zometa infusion every three months and that is a bone strengthener..
Can be done at my local hospital and takes about 30 minutes..plus I usually manage to score morning tea..scones and a cuppa plus a great view over the harbour..
So all up doing very well and very grateful all my treatments are free here..
the breakfast of shark biscuits ...
Morning...our snappies are connoisseurs....for only when the best will do...
What more can I say...
What a cutie with that Vegemite grin..
And certainly not my photo...
... a vegan shark?
Never!!..would be spat out on contact..
Yeeaaccchhhh..🤢
... so it's like shark repellent if applied to exposed skin before entering the ocean?
Only for Aussies...it fair game for tourists..😁
... so it's more like an oz aphrodisiac?
I won't tell if you don't..
... in that case, fire up the barby sheila.
cool amac!
Good advice, since the photos are unique and fantastic.
WILDERNESS. All of these photos were taken at the 3 university campuses within walking distance of our apartment over the seasons and years we have been living in Chongqing.

Your most impressive work ever, Buzz; just magnificent.
Thank you A.Mac.
Evening Buzz...really love the cave photo with the huge pots...
Thanks. Not a cave, it's a small pedestrian bridge.
Oh...no worries...still really like it though..

GG, what you've accomplished is to create a photo that is very much in a traditional Chinese style of painting. Good job.
I was hoping my photo evoked that sensibility.
nice work G.
Thanks, dev.
You have mastered your art, G.! Beautifully conceived and executed.
Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.
It is nearly midnight and some one is getting grumpy because the light is still on... so better call it quits before I am attacked..😬
The expression on that face says just what you said. LOL
I lived for another day..
Thank God.

A treat for the imagination.

Photo of Cedar Key which is 67 miles from our house in Ocala just before the Hurricane hit.
After the Hurrican
Hope all is well with you and your family, Kavika.
Thanks, Drinkr, we are fine with no damage at all.
That is good to hear
I was a bit concerned when I was watching the weather radar. too bad landfall wasn't much farther south east.
Be safe and well, my friend.
Morning...I was wondering how you were faring after seeing all the damage on the news here..
Devastating the loss of life and the firies who were killed trying to help other people...
So very pleased to hear you are safe and no damage.. even so still close to home..
I've never seen clouds that ominous. Glad you didn't have any problems.
140 mph sustained winds with gusts to 170 mpg and a 20-foot storm surge.
It was a true Cat 4 hurricane.
Terrifying.
OMG!!! You are really lucky. That cloud is really scary.
Today the town had a Taco festival. There were dancers. music and venders selling tacos and a beer tent. People had a good time and I saw some old friends I had not seen in a long time.
That's a great picture. Looks like fun.
Goiod shot, takes us right there.
the old fire truck an early 1940s Ford was on display
They had good food and cold beer
Years ago, if you told me I would be setting in front of the old jail drinking beer with Police around I wouldn't have believed that. But since we could, I sat there with some friends and enjoyed beers on the jail lawn.
Octoberfest beer? Better to be sitting outside the jail than inside it. LOL
... your pre-planning could have been very efficient, after 8+ beers.
Sunset at Crystal River, FL. The hurricane hit a few days later.
I have never in my life seen a cloud formation like that.
One of our best articles ever. Thanks to all.
