Good evening.
In my case, good morning. Lots of pretty swirly images to feed our imaginations I see. There are two present and recent relevant articles that should also be observed by those who enjoy and/or contribute to creative arts.

How's everything?
Better than last week, thanks for asking. Exploring chemo and medication options.
Arvo.. that is good news to hear..
Slow and steady as you go and cross the bridges when you come to them..
Was wondering how things were going so that is a relief..🌄
I'm glad this week is better.
Evening...yes it does take some tweaking at times to get the right combinations to suit the person..
It really is a fine line and one size certainly does not fit all..
Sounds like it is getting sorted and that is the main thing and Mrs Mac is now comfortable..💐
Good Arvo..🐨
Good evening now..
This isn't slightly expressionistic, but it was my day today. This picture I call "Mountain Sky" from my well-spring of thoughtful and creative titles. ©TomEArtSite
Strong composition and great subject. Thanks for posting.
Arvo... love that and very impressive..
It's interesting how that photo leads your eyes to the centre of the photo then up to the clouds. It actually draws you into in.

Very creative editing. I see that you have adopted a method used by Shen Xaotong. My depiction of The Temple of Heaven is not so unique as yours:
Thanks. I just did the first image this week and it was definitely inspired by Shen Xiaotong. The second image was completed before I knew of him or was aware of his art. The third image was also completed a while ago except for some enhancement of the color I did yesterday.
I like all 3 ...
Thanks, dev.
Evening..my first impression of the bamboo picture I originally thought it looked like a murder scene..or maybe after a croc or shark attack..
But then I could just see the bamboo.. phew..
Don't need my eyes tested after all..
Did you look at the second article I linked in my firsts comment above? I'd like to see what will say after you do.
The full title of that picture is actually "Eye Tests Down Under: Crocs Murdering Sharks in a Bamboo Forest #3".
LOL. That's the title of your bamboo forest painting? Then shona1 is exceptionally perceptive.
Arvo...first thing I thought of when I saw the boy with the red back ground and the red landscape is fire..
This is what happens here when the bushfires are roaring.. everything turns blood red..
Hell on earth..not my photos and have a horrible feeling we are going to be in for it this summer..not had the rainfall we normally get and it's quite dry already...
Wow. I almost said "Holy Smoke" but that expression would hardly be appropriate.
Transformations....

I like those.
Thank you. I don't recall where I took the photos of the irises or the girls, but the river scene was near the start of the river cruise that started at Guilin in Guanxi Province and went down the Li River through the Karst mountains, and the Buddha was imbedded in the wall on the way up the steps to see the Giant Buddha of Leshan in Sichuan Province.
Here is another, shot on my phone.
I call this one "Tahawus Autumn" ©TomEArtSite
Arvo...that really is quite stunning Thomas..
Think I like this one more than the other one..
Thank you, Shona.
Another good one. With both the fallen birch and the rock pile this becomes more than just a photo. Is Tahawus the name of the area?
Tahawus is the name of the ski trail that it is taken from. Tahawus was the name given to the highest point in New York State and means cloud-splitter in Iroquois. The mountain's name has been changed to the much less dramatic "Mt. Marcy. Interestingly, cloud-splitter would be apt name for the mountain on this day, because it is obscured by the mass of clouds at the top of the picture.
The shoulder of Pete Gay mountain is the reddish yellow just beyond the trees, with the rocky Moxham Ridge in cloud shadow just beyond that. My real reason for taking the picture was the large blob of fog/cloud in the valleys just beyond Moxham Ridge that appears to be slithering, octopus-like up and over the next mountain... Either that or the clouds are calling it home.
I didn't notice when I was taking the picture, but there is either a hawk or falcon in the clouds around the pine tree. I had noticed the bird earlier and immediately discounted my chances of getting a shot at it with my phone, yet I just noticed when I enlarged the image that I did indeed get a picture of it... but only I would know that. It just looks like something on the lens.
I saw that and thought it was a mark on my mobile phone screen.. but in the end I thought it was an eagle..
This one I actually tweaked a little bit.
I don't know about this one. Topridge Oven ©TomEArtSite
I think that just cropping the original would have been enough....

I think you're right.

Maybe so, but it made me think of either a tree or a mushroom.
Abstract Art is often “polyreferential” as you have demonstrated.
... or a mandrill
Looking at it again, I see a wolf wearing a helmet, looking straight at me.
Yes, that long nose.
This is a mushroom..
...among other things! Shroomin ©TomEArtSite
At first I was thinking more of something like this:
,,,or like this:
I know, but they are no fun
Really? I thought that tree was one of the funniest I've ever seen.
Makes one wonder at the park bench,"Will this keep me dry?"
I bet it would. However, last month I saw something I had never before seen in my lifetime. There was about an hour when the wind was so strong the rain was going sideways instead of down - it swung my computer-room side-hinged window that wasn't even open that much right around to smack against the wall. It took the building staff to bring it back to normal position.
My wife, having a PhD in Nursing, sees the "female reproductive system".
LOL. Never would have thought of it, but I think she's more accurate than all of us.
I can see that, she's a keeper amac.
Thanks to all; back Thursday night.
