Goog evening!

What's that building that looks like a monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey?
The John Hancock Building.
Next stop Antarctica..geez one person on my beach..one to many..
And I actually took the photos..
Now we are being invaded...
Seems you would rather be like Tom Hanks in Cast Away.
I would be very happy to park myself on a tropical island and live and look for cowrie shells..
the beach was probably crowded minutes before, what were you wearing when you took that picture?
Morning...
All I did was yell "croc" for a bit of fun and everyone racked off..
Silly tourists, we don't get them here..😁
yelling croc on a beach here wouldn't get much notice, but yelling shark would, even at fresh water lakes ...
Arvo..nah...
Everyone is use to shark..so i thought i would try something different..
Check the article at the link below.
It's for the birds.

WOW!!! You are really able to excel with your editing. I hope you're not using AI, as per an article recently posted on NT.
Thanks. I don't have the slightest idea how to use AI and as of now I have no interest in learning how to use it, and probably never will. So, the answer is no, I'm not using AI. It's just my editing.
That will be here on Monday..some places are meant to hit 45c.. that's just a tad to warm...
We had temperatures that hot where I live this last summer. It was awful. It definitely wasn't the first time it's been that hot around here.
This is a statue of my 3 x great grandfather, Pierre “Summer Wolverine’’ Bottineau in front of the courthouse in Bottineau county ND. Pierre was Metis, and married to a Metis woman. He is well known though out ND, MN and Manitoba. A trapper, hunter, businessman, led numerous expeditions the last one being for the UPRR he was also an interpreter as he spoke, French, English, Metis, Ojibwe, Dakota (Sioux) Fox and Cree. He also represented the Ojibwe tribe in negations with the US government.
The article when he died was very complimentary to him and stated his word was always good, no task was ever left undone and he was a striking man 6 feet 200 lbs with piercing dark eyes the only exception was his swarthy skin from his native mother…They couldn’t resist throwing in a insult. All the articles after that that comment was struck.
He once won Nicolette Island in Minneapolis in a card game.
It's good to see well deserved appreciation being shown.
Interesting. When I find some time I'll have to learn more about him.
Been seeing some ancestral photos recently, so I think I'll unload some of mine. None of them were famous.

Your socks match the fabric of the couch....
It was coincidental - I'm at a friend's home in that photo.
Great photos, Buzz and you look like Gene Wilder in your photo.
Thanks. Although they're my photos, none of them were taken by me.
I’m exploring the AI Expand feature in my Picsart app. I grabbed a random photo of a train from some article, and expanded up it. Everything outside of the original is AI created.
But can't you do the same thing with 'paint\ or any editing program?
I suppose you could if you were an artist and had hours to spend on such an endeavor. AI does it in under a minute. AI is not perfect though (yet), lol.
LOL. I'm sorry. I thought the original photo was the bottom one and the top one was the expansion, i.e. I thought you meant the AI made the train bigger in the photo. That is why it looked to me as if all it did was crop the original photo. I looked at it entirely backwards. Now that I realize what you meant I see that the AI did the creativity.
No worries. You and your great grandfather were quite the tycoons, apparently.
He was the leader of his community, but I sure as hell never was.
Buzz is a tycoon of Newstalkers
Not really, I'm merely an overabundant contributor.
How cool is that…..
From my spring vacation...
Bambi's mother lives?
Black Tailed Deer in the Olympic National Park. They are very tame and used to visitors.
Back in storage in Toronto there is a photo of a fawn eating a snack from my palm in Algonquin Park, Ontario.
in the rockies they're varmits, beggars, and temporary hood ornaments ...
Snaps from work today...
As I said about a similar photo you posted last time, "Oh, for a pair of skis." But this one has a fantastic sky full of beautiful clouds.
Arvo...do you ever build a snowman?
We do Aussie style..but call him a sandman..
Not my photo..
December in Ocala, FL. Looking out my back door.
Kavika, I would rather be at your house than mine right now...
Ahh the great outdoors.. can't beat it this time of year..
Meehhh snow..who needs it...
Not my photo..
It pays my bills...
Evening..you could have a change of scenery..
And shovel sand...🏝️🏖️🌅
You're the sunset king. This is one of yours taken from the same viewpoint.
Nice, Buzz.
Santorini
Would you like me to enlarge those and your ones at number 14 and 15 for you?
Sure, that would be nice of you.
Thanks
Done. Now we all can appreciate them more.

An ancestor of the rhinoceros?
Cliffs of Moher from the water
Grand Tetons
Haggis in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow Scotland.
THAT'S what haggis is? I had always thought it was some kind of created Scottish recipe.
It is. That is why I thought the museum had such a funny rendition of a mythical creature.
I had haggis several times while in Scotland and enjoyed it. My wife had it (and black pudding) once and that was more than enough.
I don't know if I've ever had anything particularly Scotch except whiskey.
I had more than a few flights of scotch while there. Amazing taste difference between 8, 12 and 18 year old of the same scotch.
Morning... that's on par with our drop bears..
Good morning. I was wondering how you can "bear" them, then realized what the answer had to be - VEGEMITE!!!
Naturally...drop bears really like tourists..they leave us locals alone..
But they are partial to abit of Veggie every now and then.. especially tourists who have sampled our delectable delicacy and are fair game..
🐨🐨
One of them looks like he really works out.

I'd have to assume Pennypack Park from our previous correspondence.
Where i'm at recently, in two separate locations, I literally have the Neshaminy Creek as my backyard. One day i'll learn how to post some photographs. In my one location, I have some equipment and belongings in potential flood prone areas where in the event of severe flooding of the creek, I would need to move some things to higher elevations. From my current location that I stereotype this from, i'm on a rugged large rock frequented fairly steep hill where two small creeks converge into one. These spring fed creeks become roaring rapids of impervious surface overflow containment when not in near drought conditions like we've recently experienced. From the cabin from where I write this, down the steep rugged hill, I'm probably about 100 or so yards from the Neshaminy, and where I store some stuff at my buddies place down stream a few miles, i'm less than 50. Amazing the amount of nature and wildlife that thrive right outside our doors for sure, as just last evening I had deer but 10 yards out my door. I listen to an owl at this exact moment, but who am I to ponder how many licks it takes, to get the center, of any political argument, or, a Tootsie Roll Pop....?
Years ago, I fished for Trout in the Neshaminy.
Where abouts, and what year would be years ago ?
I'm talking about the 1960's and '70's. There was a bridge but I can't recall the township.
I fished it as a youth in the 70's, but thought it quite polluted and would never eat anything caught from it. I refer to areas from Tyler State Park in Northampton I believe, down to the Delaware River. I'm fortunate to be around after taking quite a few very ill advised canoe runs down the Neshaminy with about my best buddy now deceased. Very stupid we were, as I look back, but we were adrenaline junkies and loved when the creek was most dangerous in various flood stages. A few of our voyages proved fatal or almost fatal to others, as helicopters brought in to rescue them. I look back at how foolish we were, but at the time, could see not the stupidity. Glad no rescuers perished from our reckless regard. It is an awesome creek, and I've witnessed it take many lives. It can be a beautiful serene scene or a raging violently angry river, and on both it has delivered, for at least me.
Is that a snow-covered lane or a frozen stream?
It's Pennypack Creek in Philadelphia.
Calling this one! Thanks to all
