Snake-shaped Shanxi huamo (decorated steamed buns) are in high demand as people are ready to usher in the Year of the Snake Spring Festival, which will fall on Jan 29.
Dating back more than a millennium, Shanxi huamo does not merely delight the eyes and tastebuds but also is of ceremonial use. In 2008, it was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.

Baking is an art, but this is top level stuff for sure. Every once in a while I watch one of those professional baking shows and it's amazing what these people can do.
And there are foodie movies wherein the chefs are artists, like Julie & Julia, and I loved watching Jon Favreau in Chef.
My wife & I love to watch The Great British Baking Show on Netflix.
Once in a while I watch the cooking shows on TV here. I don't understand what they're saying but I can still see what they're doing.
