Morning...well it's Australia day here...back in 1788 the Brits rolled up along with some convicts and plonked a flag in around Botany Bay and claimed it for England..

Unbeknown to them the Kooris had already been here for 60,000 years and so began colonisation much to their detriment..

With our warts and all, my island/sand bar is my home and I bless everyday my Grand parents migrated here nearly 100 years ago..

Happy Australia Day to the Great Southern Land who ever you are and where you are from..

Arvo..well we are in for it tomorrow..parts of Victoria will be hitting 45c and here 35c..

We will get hot north winds that come from the Outback on par with what has happened in LA..

They have declared a total fire ban for half the State but this is often the trigger for some maggot to go out and light one deliberately..

We will be holding our breath tomorrow..😬

A new project for tomorrow. My UNS 2g shallow. I have some new houseplants that I think would look nice in here. I'll add some shrimp to it when it matures.

I don't think that is the look my wife is going for. I'm not sure what's going to be there as my wife changes her mind as often as the weather, but I'm certain it won't have cinder blocks. I used that in apartments before and a lot of people on YouTube are now using that design for fish tanks.

I told my wife this morning I want to bring an aquarium upstairs. I wanted a new big one I plan to buy this summer, but she said it had to be a small one so I'm thinking the 10g shallow I used to have in my office. I've been working on an idea for it for awhile now. I may just have to find a new stand for it sooner.

For what it's worth...

Super Bowl 2023: Eagles' James Bradberry admits officials made correct call on crucial late holding penalty

"I pulled on his jersey. They called it. I was hoping they would let it ride," Bradberry said

Besides, the game was tied and might have gone to overtime anyway. There's no way of knowing what would have happened.

Truth be told, I'm a little stressed about the coming matchup. Philly was very high energy yesterday.
