Although I did play football in high school, and my father took me to watch our home team "Hamilton Tiger-Cats" play, and I can still remember their cheer...

"“Oskee wee wee! Oskee wa wa! Holy mackinaw! Tigers! Eat ‘em raw!”  LINK ->  Tiger-Cats’ Oskee Wee Wee cheer turns 100 – CFLAA

...I was never much into football.  Being a Canadian, Hockey was the most important spectator sport, and that was back in the days when the Toronto Maple Leafs was our favourite team, that actually won the Stanley Cup now and then.

So I have to admit that although for A.Mac's sake I hope the Eagles win it, I'm not at all interested.  I'd rather watch ping-pong.

I usually go to a Super Bowl party a friend and former co-worker of mine has held for over 40 years.  I talk with old friends, eat and drink beer.  I might watch the half time show and the commercials...  Maybe even some of the game!

It's usually only about 3 hours, and DVRs come in handy for skipping commercials, halftime, and even dead time between plays if a person is so inclined. I do all of that sometimes. If a drive is running smoothly without flags, a 30 second forward skip can take you from snap to snap in short order, lol.

I can't help but think that some commercial breaks are created and extended by advertisers.

I think the broadcasting licenses include a certain amount of breaks. Not sure how many, but something like 8 per half.

Woo hoo...a snake catcher up in Sydney was called in after someone saw a couple of adult red bellied black snakes in a pile of mulch...they are somewhat dangerous and can kill you..

Went in for 4 adults instead came out with 5 adults and 97 new borns..

Gotta love the Great Southern Land..😁

Yes absolutely tragic...only 17 and she was also in the surf life saving club..had just finished High School..

Even so two cops rushed into the water trying to get her to safety but unfortunately it was to late...

Takes a bloody lot of courage to do that especially when she was 100 metres out...and the shark is still circling..

Cool, Buzz.

Tea-toters made me chuckle because at first I misread it as teetotalers, and the eels look like a plate of "gagh" from Star Trek. Klingon food, lol. Probably what they used.

Glad you picked up on that.  A long time ago people in the mountains would grow and process tea leaves, and then individually "tote" them over the mountains to the market.  Although there are no Klingons here as well as I know, somebody likes to eat what could well be described as "gagh".

If you’re planning to watch the Super Bowl game, but you have not seen an Eagles game in the last few years, let me give you two pieces of terminology that you will undoubtedly encounter during the game.

The “TUSHPUSH” also known as “THE BROTHERLY SHOVE”.

You’re all set now.

Y whatever might one be implying, as i'm only a few miles N of A. Mac.

That reputation has been earned, the hard way. And backed up every day.

Used to have suite seats right under the enclosed glass boxes when Andy Reid kept falling short here. Disappointing, expensive, but good and a lot of it, FUN!

Not to be confused with the "Butt Fumble" from Mark Sanchez and the Jets a few years ago. :)
