The SUPER BOWL (2025) ~ Likely America's Most Hyped Event ~ Creative Arts Three Day Weekend
This Year's Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Philadelphia Eagles
I invite those with a rooting interest & those on the "sidelines" to bring your hype or tout your
For openers …
Kick or receive.

Don't hold back … but no meanness. Be intense if you like, but no personal insults. Good natured TAUNTS encouraged.
Arvo...go Aussie...
Vegemite all the way..🦘
Although I did play football in high school, and my father took me to watch our home team "Hamilton Tiger-Cats" play, and I can still remember their cheer...
"“Oskee wee wee! Oskee wa wa! Holy mackinaw! Tigers! Eat ‘em raw!” LINK -> Tiger-Cats’ Oskee Wee Wee cheer turns 100 – CFLAA
...I was never much into football. Being a Canadian, Hockey was the most important spectator sport, and that was back in the days when the Toronto Maple Leafs was our favourite team, that actually won the Stanley Cup now and then.
So I have to admit that although for A.Mac's sake I hope the Eagles win it, I'm not at all interested. I'd rather watch ping-pong.
both of my sports nuts sons say KC can't defend against the philly ground game. I might watch the last few minutes ...
I usually go to a Super Bowl party a friend and former co-worker of mine has held for over 40 years. I talk with old friends, eat and drink beer. I might watch the half time show and the commercials... Maybe even some of the game!
Most of the commercials are excellent!
I refuse to spend 6+ hours of my life watching a football game.
It's usually only about 3 hours, and DVRs come in handy for skipping commercials, halftime, and even dead time between plays if a person is so inclined. I do all of that sometimes. If a drive is running smoothly without flags, a 30 second forward skip can take you from snap to snap in short order, lol.
I can't help but think that some commercial breaks are created and extended by advertisers.
I think the broadcasting licenses include a certain amount of breaks. Not sure how many, but something like 8 per half.
Should be a great matchup!
I'll start off.

Glad you posted these;I should have been clear that ALL CREATIVE WORK is welcomed as always & not limited to the Super Bowl.

3 beautiful scenes - wonderful photos.
Thank you.
Beautiful shots.
The brilliant green in the second one makes me ache for spring.
Nooooo... that means we are only three weeks away from Autumn..😭
Lol. I think I'm about 6 or 7 away from that gorgeous spring green.
Thanks, Dig.
Arvo....to cool for shark biscuits today but went in yesterday..jaws was to slow off the mark..
But unfortunately a 17 yo girl died up in Qld on Wednesday a shark bit her...and they couldn't save her..🥀
Woo hoo...a snake catcher up in Sydney was called in after someone saw a couple of adult red bellied black snakes in a pile of mulch...they are somewhat dangerous and can kill you..
Went in for 4 adults instead came out with 5 adults and 97 new borns..
Gotta love the Great Southern Land..😁
Yikes! I don't mind snakes, but that's quite a knot.
That's very sad.
Yes absolutely tragic...only 17 and she was also in the surf life saving club..had just finished High School..
Even so two cops rushed into the water trying to get her to safety but unfortunately it was to late...
Takes a bloody lot of courage to do that especially when she was 100 metres out...and the shark is still circling..
It seems to be a life-gamble ocean-swimming there. I also saw in a new video that the floods caused the crocodiles to be in inhabited areas.
Arvo..yes crocs are popping up everywhere at the moment in the strangest of places due to the floods..
One was photographed down Bundaberg which is quite a ways down south to where they are usually found...
He was doing a bit of body surfing.. without a surf mat..😁
Certainly not my photo..
That's so sad. My condolences go out to the family and friends.
thrashing around in the surf is a sharks dinner bell ...
I think it is going to be very good game. I also think most people wish there two different teams playing.
We need a Chief-peat" just to keep American social media screaming and shouting!
I think NOT
I've trimmed some of the stems and added additional plants this week in the 20g cube.
I will be stopping by a local greenhouse that has the items I need for my next project. This will be something new for me and I'm excited to give it a try.
We're all ROOTing for you!
Thanks A Mac. I do like BRANCHING out and learning new things. I'm turning a new LEAF as I'm GROWING toward retirement to CULTIVATE the skills needed as a horticulturist.
Just be careful not to become infected with Planter’s Fishitis.
Voltaire's Candide would be proud of you.
That one looks really good now. Be careful to not gild the lily.
Thank you. I'm thinking of adding pressurized CO2 to the tank to really give those new plants the energy boost they need to thrive.
Morning....fire in the sky...the Grampians bushfire is still burning after 4 weeks and no sign of rain at all...still copping smoke from it when the wind blows the wrong way... it's 200 kms away from me...
Stay safe shona. That photo is eerie. Just messing around, I borrowed it and made this mirrored edit. Then I saw two dogs in it. Then I saw two men. Then I saw two birds.

Cool, Buzz.
Tea-toters made me chuckle because at first I misread it as teetotalers, and the eels look like a plate of "gagh" from Star Trek. Klingon food, lol. Probably what they used.
Glad you picked up on that. A long time ago people in the mountains would grow and process tea leaves, and then individually "tote" them over the mountains to the market. Although there are no Klingons here as well as I know, somebody likes to eat what could well be described as "gagh".
If you’re planning to watch the Super Bowl game, but you have not seen an Eagles game in the last few years, let me give you two pieces of terminology that you will undoubtedly encounter during the game.
The “TUSHPUSH” also known as “THE BROTHERLY SHOVE”.
You’re all set now.
with past familiarity of sports fans in philly, win or lose, I hope all your property insurance coverage is up to date ...
Y whatever might one be implying, as i'm only a few miles N of A. Mac.
That reputation has been earned, the hard way. And backed up every day.
Used to have suite seats right under the enclosed glass boxes when Andy Reid kept falling short here. Disappointing, expensive, but good and a lot of it, FUN!
Not to be confused with the "Butt Fumble" from Mark Sanchez and the Jets a few years ago.
The short NFL clip is disabled for playback on other websites, but you can watch it on YouTube.
I recently bought this set of 8 glass tumblers at an antique store. They are heavy and feel good in your hand, and I just love drinking from them. The last one was made using an AI Expand editing feature.
They're beautiful, and in a historical way.as well. My grandmother had glassware like that.
They are rather stunning Hal..
My Mom had some of that stuff, or something pretty similar. Believe it or not, I think she bought it from Avon. They sell dishes now and then, and they become collector's items. I think they did hobnail glass for a while, too.
Variation on a theme.

Arvo...our West Coast Eagles footy logo..
Not that I barrack for them..
Evening...the Aussie is ready..
Go Chiefs!
It's a Philly thing. If you're not from here, and you don't get, it's not your fault.
Recent rains and snow melt had the Shenandoah River in Northwestern Virginia up on this damp and dreary day. Earlier the water had been over this bridge.
Good weather to stay home and watch the SuperBowl.
Arvo...
Fly like an eagle on Vegemite..
With the Eagles up 24 - 0 at half time, requiring the Chiefs to make 3 converted TDs and a field goal just to tie it, unless some kind of miracle were to happen A.Mac's going to get his wish granted.
No idea what you said but so long as they are in front and go for it...
He means that halfway through the game, Philadelphia had a nearly insurmountable lead.
Other words they're cactus..
Aussie power..🦘
No miracle for the Chiefs...and A.Mac can celebrate..
Any questions?
Nope...🦘🦘🦘🦘
Congratulations to the Philly fans. I don't think anyone thought KC could be dominated like that.
Wwweeeellll some of us did with an Aussie on board..
Morning...hope you are still partying..
Thanks for the kind words; at a time when there's so much anxiety, the game & the Philadephia celebration is a welcome diversion.
My apologies and congratulations to all the Eagles' fans - never have I been so wrong about how a game would play out.
Many thanks, Robert.
Thanks to all. See you Thursday night.
