I am keeping busy with productive, "normal" day-to-day stuff … photography, digital art, fly fishing when possible … and maintaining the PRIORITY of taking care of home and family.
All truly beautiful images, Mac. Number 3 on the top row right really is very inspirational. The sunlight and resultant reflection on the tower is truly awesome. Excellent catch!
I wonder why your first Delacroix was open for me to see, but I could not open the second one. Any difference in how they were posted? No problem, because you provided the title I was able to search and see the painting on the internet.
Delacroix establishes, as did Van Gogh, that cityscapes can be as interesting and beautiful as landscapes. You really do have an amazing collection of artworks.
OK, so this isn't a photo but a painting I did or my rabbit. It's called "Wishful Thinking". There is a slight line going through the left side where the shadow of the glass caught something.
Perrie, you are a woman of many talents. You make me think of Maria Muldaur of the Jim Kweskin Jug Band when she sings "I'm a Woman, W-O-M-A-N".
I don' t have the song on any of my music sites, but I'm sure you can find it on YouTube.
Well, I can wash out forty-four pairs of socks And have them hangin' out on the line I can starch and iron two dozen shirts Before you can count from one to nine
Well, I can scoop up a great big dipper Full of lard from the drippin's can Throw it in the skillet, do my shoppin' And be back before it melts in the pan
'Cause I'm a woman W O M A N Let me tell you again I'm a woman W O M A N
Well, I can rub and scrub 'til this house Is shinin' just like a dime Feed the baby, grease the car And powder my nose at the same time
You know I can get all dressed up Go out and swing 'til four a.m. and then Jump up at five and drop to six And start all over again
'Cause I'm a woman W O M A N Let me tell you again I'm a woman W O M A N
If you come to me sickly, you know I'm gonna make you well And if you come to me all hexed up You know I'm gonna break the spell
Well, if you come to me hungry You know I'm gonna fill you full of my grits And if it's lovin' you're lackin', I'll kiss you And give you the shiverin' fits
Oh, let me do it again I'm a woman W O M A N C'mon Paul
Well, I got a twenty dollar gold piece says There ain't nothin' I can't do But I can make a dress out of a feed bag And make a man out of you

All beautiful photos Mac
An excellent array of photos, but the top one, the article-posting photo is a knockout punch.
Beautiful photos Mac. They look a little different from your usual work. I love all the vivid colors!
Critique? Instead of taking care of the home, you should be here for us damnit!
Haha
Great pics as always. Love the colour in the first.

From my art collection.
Michael Delacroix, Moulin Rouge.
That is a very beautiful image Kavika. An excellent period piece.
Somewhat in the Grandma Moses mode but certainly more sophisticated.
I also have this one by Delacoix entitled. ''Paris street scene, river Seine''
I love the reflection of the city street in the river.

They were taken from two different sites off the internet Buzz.
Thanks, I still have a number to post over the coming weeks/months.
You have quite the art collection, Kavika. I am impressed.
Thanks Perrie.
That one is unique.
I think it is to Ender....The reflection in the river is amazing, IMO.
Indeed the reflection of the buildings on the river is very impressive. The other images included with the river is very life-like. Excellent work!
If I fits I sits.
LOL. Good caption. Is that your cat? Mine was a tuxedo domestic shorthair as well.
LOL, good one pat.
Purrfect, Pat!
Good one AMac ! Fur sure !
Adorbs, Pat.
The Dandy dressed Kitty is adorable. Thank you for sharing it with us. (smile)
She's my daughters cat.

That has a nice storybook quality.
Your rabbit has coloring like Wally.
The reason the painting looks that way is the medium I used, which was gouache and is often used in illustrations.
My rabbit Cinnamon and Wally indeed, both do have masks. I guess I am drawn to animals that look like the Lone Ranger, LOL. I even owned a collie.
I had a collie/shepherd mix years ago. Best dog in the world.
Was yours a border collie.
Well done sister.
Thanks, Brother!
It makes me think of a rabbit chewing on leaves, dreaming of carrots.
Haha
Great job.
Thanks Ender! And yes it's supposed to make you laugh.
I am reminded of Vlad. He had some great ones too.
I miss seeing his paintings.
Me too. I don't think he migrated here tho.
I miss Vlad, he had some great stuff. Hope he is doing well
He had an account here when this place opened up.
I think he quit social media all together though.
Another one I miss...DSKI
Very nicely done, Perrie. Lots of color, detail and imagination. Well done indeed!!

Thanks Buzz!
And believe it or not, I remember that song along with Maria Muldaur's other big hit, "Midnight at the Oasis".
Now send your camels to bed.
Here is my creation for this week. I hope you enjoy.
Aha! Another spooky one. Please describe for us.
It's a Shaman wearing a Panther's head headdress for a Spiritual ritual.
I haven't been taking many pictures lately. It seems like I always do the same things.
I need a vacation or something. haha
So I will stick you with a flower, well, a drooping flower
And rebirth
Shanghai in the mist. I took this photo more than a decade ago.
Rising from the ashes.
Those are both very beautiful pictures. Love the naturalness of the flower.
I haven't been out much this spring, but here are two female finches I snapped on Saturday on a trip out of town.
One more "Flair up"!

That would look like a bomb explosion if it were in a movie.
Very impressive! Love the vibrant colors, and contrasts of the bright and dark, and the resultant spread of various reflections. Well done!
OMG, that is so cute....Great find pat.
And coincidentally, her name is Iris.
And here I thought that it was ''Purple Rain''.
Now that is just precious, Pat. Totally sweet and adorable.
Always take the time to smell the roses.
Indeed! And it looks like this 'lil pup is doing just that and enjoying it. (smile)
Tonight we got invited to watch a friend's son, #44 here, play the last lacrosse game of the regular season.
Lacrosse, the Creators game.
A most unusual plant. What is it?
It’s last year’s bloom from a crepe myrtle tree. I found it nestled into my patio table and thought it to be an interesting bit of geometry.
It is.
Very unusual. And you are right...it is very interesting. (smile)
