Buzz, please forgive me, as I probably belong to the place which no one visits. I am just not the best when it comes to these internet sites. Might sound stupid, but I just do not explore a lot.
However, as this is a quiet site, it might be a great place to post another story of an old hard cranky guy who met a beautiful young girl, as if across time and space.
Funny how older guys can come across these beautiful gifts from God.
If you can remind me of the location, I would try to post a good photo story.
This is the group to post a photo story on, unless perhaps it's about travel or sights in a different country, in which case Discovery group might be the place.
As for my finding a beautiful woman (albeit in her mid-40s and mother of a teenage girl at the time) it may just have been good luck on the part of this old hard cranky guy.

LOL, Nothing wrong with that.
Edit to say our favourite movie is Timeline, just because of how ridiculous it was that we met.
Beautiful photos EG. They really are elegant creatures. We had butterflies galore here not too long ago. All different colors and sizes. It was just an array of colors in all directions.
Thanks Buzz. I like the naturalness of the wood burls. And yes, I have been experimenting with different concepts. Artwork is a never ending area of experimentation to see what works and what doesn't.
Well, what would you call 'em?
Regardless … post your creative imagery, poetry, commentary … it's all good.
Buttereyes?
Nicely done, Mac!
A word I've used before but definitely applicable to those butterflies - ethereal.
I was thinking of using the word "margarineflies" since they're not natural.
These would be amazing on dress fabric.
Silk, for sure.

Not "tighty whities," Pat?
Hmmmmm … back to the drawing board.
No, a diaphanous fabric with a subtle pattern of one of your images.
Moved these from where nobody bothers to go to where at least some members do.
Dead Leaf Shadows
Beauty on the Rocks
Beautiful Buzz. Is that your Bride in the bottom one?
Yep. She's the beauty.
Indeed she is the beauty. (smile)
She certainly is a beauty.

Nice effect for some great images!
I did this a few years ago -
I love fireworks! Beautifully done.
Your butterfly collection is truly beautiful, Mac. And I agree, they would be wonderful on some very soft and delicate fabric.
From a couple of weeks ago near the beach.

It's Friday once again, and I hope everyone has a nice weekend.
An interesting melded composition, and I see that you're exploring different frame concepts. I like the burl effect.

You all make some of the most fantastic photos.
Thank you
