Outstanding photo Mac. I just love it!
Amazing shots Mac. I especially like the second pic. Thanks for haring your amazing talent.
That is a superb photo (or is it a combination of photos and sun-rays?)
I actually can't tell, which is what makes Mac a great artist.
I checked with Heartland America (website for warehouse, sales and shipping in Anoka, MN., not the NT member) and they now have my camera scheduled to ship on August 30. Too long, but not much they can do about it; they have it on backorder.
Even though the camera is down, I've still got a pretty good archive. Thought the fishermen out there would like this one. I'm not in it (only things I've ever caught that was this big were a few sharks).
The time was the early 90's. The fisherman was my father and the photographer was my mother. The place was Frankfort, MI. on Lake Michigan. The fish was a 3ft long Coho Salmon caught off the pier.
Here's a close up of the fish.
These were taken with a very old (1950's) Kodak box camera and scanned into my computer some years ago. I've sharpened them up as much as possible.
A lot of delicious healthy meals, I bet.
That's a beauty of a salmon, TTGA. I really do like me some salmon.
Me too. The fillets are great, either broiled or breaded and fried. Only fish that even comes close is the Lake Superior Whitefish.
Smoked salmon slices for me - a/k/a lox or gravlox.
Thant one didn't get away!
Lookin' out my backdoor.
Add some CCR to it and there you go.
Beautiful photo Kavika. I never saw FLA look so good!
I never saw FLA look so good!
It started when I moved here....
Yep. Florida never looked that good when I visited there a few years back.
Let's keep this going …
Cool Your Feet in a Winter Stream as the Sun starts to sink …
Very nice picture, Mac. Love the variations of colors and reflections.
Cool your feet in the headwaters of the Mississippi River.
A look into the crystal ball.....
Well done, RW.
If so, then is that the prediction for the future?
If so, then is that the prediction for the future?
Very well could be. But, as the saying goes....."careful what you wish for."
Always great artwork Raven Wing.
Thanks Dave. Sorry for the mix-up.
Thank you, Kathleen.
awesome artwork RW.
Thank you very much, dev.
Teal lit bridge after the rain.
Great photo, EG.
I like the water theme especially, as I just received some beach photos.
The stylish Natalya at a relaxing shady point in Zaliznyy Port (Iron Port). Nobody knows where it got it's name as it has no iron, nor any ports. Nice water though.
There are some more nice photos of the area, but most will require cropping. We will miss some water, but them's the rules with bikini photos.
Perhaps the iron ore ships on their way to Hamilton's Steel Company of Canada and back used to stop there. Remember the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Very possible Buzz, that something like that may have happened. The Black Sea is known since ancient times for being treacherous. If so, and if heading toward Ukraine, it most likely would have been going to Odesa or Kherson.
Oh, my bad. I didn't realize the photo wasn't taken in the USA.

Right Buzz. The Fitz is a few miles off Whitefish Point in Lake Superior. Just about at the horizon in the center of this shot.
Beautiful photo TTGA. It looks very peaceful and relaxing.
Thank you Raven Wing. I think you were referring to me.
So sorry for the mix-up, Dave.
No problem Raven Wing.
Maybe your clipboard had TTGA.
We will all survive.
That's because it was taken in May of 2001 Raven. In November of 1975, it was not so peaceful. When Gordon Lightfoot sang about the Gales of November, he knew what he was talking about. That's when the Fitz went down. I certainly wouldn't take a ship out there in November, not for anything. That's because I'm an old man and I'd kind of like to get a bit older.
Good news. I cancelled the order for the new camera. It was on backorder until August 30. Instead I found that my wife's old Samsung phone has a perfectly functional camera on it, even though it is no longer connected as a phone. I started picking up some shots today, both in my yard and at the Ox Roast (local festival). Here's one I got in the yard. The ones at the Ox Roast will be posted next Thursday or Friday; both the kids having fun and the car show.
Not really my best, but I don't have a 30 power telescopic lens to work with either.
Maybe your clipboard had TTGA
Or the clipboard between my ears....
I love the little hummers. I miss all the ones I had when I lived in Santee CA. I had 5 feeders around the house and we had a large bunch of Hummers all year round. So many different colors and personalities. They are just adorable little birds.
Julia's "deco sunset".
LOL. Are you sure it was necessary to crop the water to the extent that we are deprived of seeing the rest of Julia?
Oh yes, I am pretty sure.
That said this is acceptable:
Here Comes The Sun
She is standing on a rock to the side of the one she is sitting on in another photo.
Beautiful photo, TTGA. The water looks a bit choppy though.
Thank you Raven Wing. I think you were referring to me again.
Indeed I was Dave. Sorry for the mix-up. Some days it just does not pay to get up.
LOL, if that is the worst thing that has ever happened, I think we are doing pretty good.
Not an excuse, but, I got both my Flu and pneumonia shot on the same day and in the same arm. I was feeling the effects of both the shots and hurt all over. Today is the first day that I have felt worth a tinkers damn. (grin)
Glad you are feeling better Raven Wing.
Maybe today I can get caught up on the recipes everyone has been contributed to date.
Thanks Dave. Next time I will wait a week in between the shots. Lesson learned.
She doesn’t paint too often because she feels she is not very good at it.
She tried watercolors on this one.
Kathleen, your daughter is very talented.
Thank you Dave... : )
You are welcome Kathleen.
It is beautiful.
Thank you Paula
She is exceptionally talented - I really like the way she extends the subject over onto the frame - very creative.
Thank you Buzz... : )

Same here. Kind of a 3-D effect.
The Spontaneous One.
Pretty sure I can get away with this one.
You make old geezers like me jealous - I still have an eye for a beautiful woman. And of course, for great photos.
This is cleaned up enough too.
The red head is Viktoria, a University classmate. Guess which one has been part of human pyramids before?
Collapse of the Pyramid
Keep posting photos of the beautiful women in your life - it makes my day - even my my seeds and articles that are different topics. I will NEVER flag them as off topic. LOL
So happens I got some I cleaned up some more.
Her come hither look.
The day I decided I was getting her out of Dodge.
Six months later she got paid 50 cents on the dollar for the design on this mask and other artwork for which she had not been paid for a month at that time.
Look at the look on her face. It shouts of "is this guy for real or just another ahole". That pot of coffee was all she had to "eat" that day.
She walked away from that Euro Maidan nonsense...well actually it was an 18 hour train ride.
Oh, you're killing me...
Her come hither look.
Come on Dave. Why the hell aren't you going hither, no matter what else might SEEM important.
I would love to TTGA, but that would be exchanging long term happiness for short term gratification.
Some time this winter the US Department of State will be satisfied with her most recent exile to the old country and most likely that will be the last time she will need to return as opposed to want to return for a visit.
Additionally, for me to take a trip over there would be a $1K - $2K hit on our savings in airline fairs alone. I simply do not make the kind of money I used to prior to a personal health issue in 2017, so we need to manage our expenses to ensure she has a good return trip home. Then Irina another 6 months to a year later.
But a visit sure sounds tempting.
Just a few photos today.
The kid is saying "Arrest that man."
Very nice photos Buzz. Indeed the little fella in the bottom pic looks like he is ratting out someone.
LOL, I love that picture.
Great B/W photo EG.
EG, you have a great eye and ability.
We are lookin' good! Let's keep it going.
Beautiful Larkspur Mac. Love the bright colors and close-up detail. Well done!
Years ago, my wife hooked this Lemon Shark off of Key West, Florida … it wore her out and I reeled it in. It was released.
I bet it put up a strong fight.
Many years ago we caught a Mako Shark about that size off the coast of Ocean City Maryland. It put up a pretty good fight.
The only time I went ocean fishing was off the Kona (Big Island of Hawaii) coast in a fishing boat called the Kona Queen. I caught a Mahi Mahi but all my Hawaii photos were colour slides and are in storage back in Canada. However, it was not a "catch and release" situation. The hotel chef prepared it for our dinner, and let me tell you, when Mahi Mahi is cooked when freshly caught, it is a delicacy.
...when Mahi Mahi is cooked when freshly caught, it is a delicacy.
My mouth is watering thinking about it right now.
